I think this 'Resort' has the best views in the area... from what I could tell as I had a look at a few places. There were some renovstions taking place when we were there and between this and other local guests we found noise levels a bit high. This is by no means a resort in the real meaning...

We stayed here as part of a study trip to Kanchanaburi - as the previous reviewer writes this is a wonderfully peaceful, quiet resort overlooking the lake, with beautiful views of the famed wooden bridge, views of the golden temple pagoda and a beautiful morning mist, and sunset atmosphere. Rooms are simple, yet clean - we stayed in one of...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel as it was included in a package tour around Thailand organised by Siam Express. The hotel staff barely speaks any English. The lobby is dark and outdated. The restaurant has a nice view over the lake. Our "superior" room was very basic with a very hard bed (I mean rock-hard), no place for...

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights with a close friend. The location is amazing, just outside the town on the shore of Lake Vijiralongkorn. It is a very tranquil and calming place. The views from the bedrooms (particularly the superior rooms in the lakeside cottages) are fantastic. Our room was simply furnished, but very presentable and...
