Me and my girlfriend had to do a visa run to Malaysia, so we thought we may as well spend the night in Satun on the way. Not much going on in Satun, but Angs guest house is a great little spot. Comfortable rooms, cold beer and a pool table, I am easily pleased.

A nice cheap and cheerful place to stay. Stayed here for one night before getting the speedboat to Lipe. The service was great and the bests were nice. Their cat loved a cuddle ;) Would stay here again .

If you're not fussy about things and fine with a laid back, artistic, bohemian style place, Cliffs Man is a nice place. I would not expect something like this in a town with shops around it, more like it should be away from town like on a beach kind of relaxing place but after all it was a pleasant surprise.... More

found the place by luck as a french couple was heading there. the place is marvellous, with a nice back garden and a bar for drinks. the place is spacious and the rooms are big and well decorated. we returned again after our Phuket trip and stayed there one more night before crossing back to Malaysia. would recommend it.

I stayed just one night at Any Yee's, on my way to Langkawi, but was generally pleased. My room was quite spacious and decorated by someone with a great eye. One of the most attractive guesthouse rooms I've had in Thailand. Shared bathrooms were also treated with a designers eye and were clean. Owner was a likeable guy, very wiling... More

I really hope my experience was just an experience of a short internal argument or something alike because this guesthouse *could* really be nice. I stayed in dozens of hostels, guesthouses and hotels in southeast Asia during the last few months. But even in the nastiest, dirtiest and cheapest hostel, I haven't experienced a boss (manager? Partner? ...I thought the... More

Looks nice from the outside; quirky and interesting but really didn't enjoy our stay. Very dark rooms, not friendly at all. It's not expensive but I've stayed in far cheaper places and made to feel so much more welcome. Bugs in the bed at night, nice! Door locks are really annoying. Bathrooms are really nice and quite clean but often... More

We weren't originally planning on staying in Satun, so when we missed our ferry to Langkawi and suddenly needed a room I was worried we wouldn't find anywhere. Thank God for Ang Yee's. This place is brilliant- gorgeous decoration with super friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a double room upstairs with aircon for B550 and it's been one... More

Ang Yee's Guest House was a pleasant find. The decor in the lobby, rooms and washrooms is lovely. The washrooms are communal, which normally I have a problem with, but they were clean, spacious and well-appointed. Despite the rooms being well decorated, the mattress was VERY uncomfortable - every spring could be felt and I woke up with a stiff... More
