The location is good. It's just a short walk to the walking street. There are many room type in here. The breakfast is buffet and it 's very yummy. However, there is no daily housekeepers. The room is not much clean. The shower is good, strong water pressure.

This is about the bungalows by Sunrise Beach. They do not have their page, but I managed to book 7 days there contacting Varin Beach Resort - they seem to be somehow connected. The guy at the reception does not speak English, but knew we had a booking. Our bungalows were in the Zone B (2nd row from the sea,...

We been here for 5 night in January. The position at 10 meters from sunrise beach in koh lipe is nice, you can see the beach when you open your door. The bungalow are clearly old, with holes everywhere in the bamboo and in the roof (was raining in the bathroom). There are lots of mosquitoes big as helicopters ready...

Our boat was canceled so we have to stay another night in Koh Lipe. Varin Beach Hotel is just beside the immigration office. 1. We stayed in the D row. The room is quite quiet. The room is average with all basic stuffs. 2. You can pass the driving license instead of passport for the reception to keep. 3. There...

So what's good about this expensive hotel? Well it's sure not the rooms cause they are somewhat tired, perhaps it's the tropical feel, except it's under construction as is the restaurant that serves you a breakfast not fit for human consumption. OK so it must be wifi, yes well if you can connect seriously you'd be lucky. OK so you...

This review is for Varin Village, Sunrise Beach. Which in my opinion is a much nicer beach and the accommodation is more reasonably priced. Spacious bamboo bungalows with large toilet/shower room, big mosquito net (though we didn't find them a problem), fan, multiple plug sockets and 24hr electricity. Well constructed and maintained. Great value, 1200 THB per night for beach...

Having already looked at other places on the island, we finally booked in at Varin, choosing their cheapest option of a wooden fan cottage. Still cost a whopping 1500Baht per night! At least we had aa hot water shower and tv for the money. The adverised free safety deposit box doesn't exist, so reception staff "advise" you not to have...
