I stayed at the Palace Hotel in Vung Tau for 4 nights during a business trip in March 2016. The staff members at Palace Hotel were helpful, friendly and tried their best to help the hotel guests. My room was a rather large suite. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated or at least looked new. The large shower head...

Asked for a room with a window, we had a window which we could not open, went to reception asked for another room, yes you must pay extra, advised personal not paying extra just want room with a window I can open, don't need a view. Palace Hotel has some and some not so good points to it. We booked the Hotel online in the morning for $91, and arrived in the afternoon. The lobby and bar area are nice, but not the very nice one would expect from 4 stars. The staff were pleasant and the service was generally good. Online, we'd asked for a...

Vung Tau in general feels very dated, and so too does this hotel so it came to be expected. Reception staff are very friendly. I opted for an additional $5/night and got a room almost double the size of my friend's (basically a suite, with seating area, ensuite, main bathroom, etc). Location is great. Didn't try out the gym or...

The flight (Vietnam Airlines) from Hue 1h/100€ to Ho Chi Minh and the Jetstar bus from airport 100k VND (5USD)/4h to Palace hotel in Vung Tau. The bus driver would lose his license during his first day in Europe! The hotel is a standard 4 star hotel with good breakfast and silent rooms-not large, not small. The reception staff as...

Managed to get a room at Palace hotel during Lunar new year at the very last minute. Good price for the nice hotel during holiday season! The staff are very nice, professional and well-trained. The check-in time is 14:00, but as we arrived quite early, they allowed us to check in at 12:00 with no additional cost. They also helped...

Dear Les S,

It's only over 2 Kms to get to Back beach. You can rent a motobike to go there in about 5 minutes only.

But you also swim at Front beach which reachable by crossing street. There a lot of visitor & local swim there.
