Yazd is known for its windcatchers -the bagdirs. And this hotel has one of its own stemming from the middle of one of its courtyards. Staying at the Mozafar is a great local experience both from the point of view of 'living' in an Irani house and interacting with Yazdi people. The restaurant seemed to be very popular with locals...

Staying in this hotel is good, I ate dinner in restaurant and it was simple. room was clean especially restroom was very clean. my room was in second floor with high stairs. totally it is good. but far from city center. you should take taxi to rich city center if you do not have enough time.

We stayed here 3 nights with a roof top room. The room is big and the bathroom has a tub. Clean and tidy. The restaurant food is very good. Highly recommended the lamb. The best I had in Iran. ( we always have difficulty in finding good food here, even in 5-star hotel) The staff at the front desk, especially...

I think if a tourist wants to see the beautiful iranian culture and old architecture, This hotel is one of the best choices. In fact here is a home and you feel living in a big Iranian Boutique. Cozy and lovely two yards, Traditional restaurant, Big rooms. But i should say 2 tips: 1. The rooms near the reception sometimes...

I stayed two nights at this hotel in October 2015. The rooms are comfortable and the AC in the room was really good. My room was off a courtyard that served as a Sheesha Lounge which I thought would bother me, but they closed down the lounge early enough that it did not disturb my sleep and they had powerful...

I had an amazing dinner here tonight and the Dizi was to kill for. Full of flavor, Packard with delicious meat and presebted traditionally in the little metal 'pots'. The manager helped us with the proper way of eating (take bread into soup in pieces and use bread to scoop the veg/meat stew out of the pot. The Lemon beer...

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. When we moved in the room, we found some water on the floor. We thought maybe the cleaning staff just finished the job. The shower area is also higher than the floor, so we thought it was because of the water flew from shower when we found the floor was still wet....

I cannot believe all the wonderful reviews about this place. We had two nights here. We changed rooms 3 times because of the strong musty smell, the lack of cleanliness, and the noisy Air con units outside the bedroom window. The bathroom and toilet also leaked. The staff are miserable. In fact the whole bedroom is depressing. It's a shame...

This is a popular place for local trendy people to drink tea, eat something and specially smoke a waterpipe. There is a good mixture of local men and women. Which makes the nice atmosphere. We had a room in the basement while the other were occupied. Not the best room, but we knew and it was cheaper than the others....
