I stayed in Khaled's camp for two nights. I was traveling alone and Khaled made everything very smooth and easy with my reservation beforehand. He helped me with directions and picked me up right on time in the village. I had an absolutely amazing time at his camp. It is in a wonderful location, the food is delicious, and the...

We chose the 1.5 day tour, i.e. a jeep tour through the wadi, one night at the camp and a three hour camel ride on the second day. We met our guide at Wadi Rum village. Unfortunately, our pick-up truck didn't have a rooftop (like most of the others we saw, so if you have the chance, ask for one...

Khaled is super organized and knows everyone's itineraries and details. It's impressive! We had only a short window in Wadi Rum and Khaled was able to provide a great itinerary, including camel rides, for us to doin short amount of time. That said, he does outsource his guides, something we knew in advance. Many of the tour guides, not just...

Traveling around the world, I find myself often in large cities. Coming to Wadi Rum was a break from that. The stark beauty of the red and white sand desert caught me quite by surprise. The nighttime sky was breathtaking and the silence was all encompassing. No electric hum constantly in the background. I wish I could have stayed longer....

Khaled's camp is by the far the best place i visited Jordan. It even surpasses Petra! Excellent hospitality, comfy beds, beautiful views and the on top of that, the food was insanely good! I highly recommend this place. Khaled is the man to look for for in Wadi Rum.

We (my parents, daughter of 7 yrs, and I) arrived at the camp after dinner had started, unfortunately, so we missed out on watching the sun set during afternoon tea. I would highly recommend arriving early to experience this. We did get to see a starry sky, which was incredible to see. Dinner at the camp was wonderful, even better...

Our time here consisted of a 3 - 4 hour ride thru the desert looking at various sites, locations & places historical importance like Lawrence' house/tent. Desert mountains were beautiful - shades and coloration as the sun shone on them was amazing. Enjoyed whole process but wish our guide, rashid spoke better English like some of the other guides we...

I stayed a night in December with my mum and had a fantastic time in Wadi Rum at Khaled's camp. We were welcomed at the entry point to Wadi Rum in the morning by the owner Khaled himself which is a great thing because he clearly provides a personalised service making sure each guest is met by him and introduced...
