Their standard one-day & overnight tour starts and finishes at 9:30am. This was never going to fit in with our plans, so (for a small extra fee) we were able to start late afternoon, see a sunset spot before being taken to the camp, then do their normal tour, plus a couple of extra places I requested the following day....

I came to the camp with a few friends for a night and a jeep tour. Muhammed and his people were kind and super friendly from the very first moment. The food in the camp was great and abundant. Definitely recommended if you plan to visit the magical wadi rum. You won't regret it!!!

I took my family on a half day tour and overnight camping experience with Abu Darrin (Mohd Suba7). He was a great guide and was so patient with our little girls' 'adjustments' to the schedule. Definitely ask for Abu Darrin when you go! The camp experience was fantastic - the food was unbelievable! Our only complaint was some of the...

Mohammed Mutlak Camp is simply incredible. My friend and I booked a few days before arriving and were met our guide Mamdou at Wadi Rum Village. We cannot rave enough about our time with Mamdou, he was so hospitable and always making sure we were okay / comfortable seeing all the sights we wanted to. The night at the camp...

My group of friends and I had an amazing time staying at Mohammed's camp. He arranged for taxis to pick us up at the border crossing from Israel and arranged for transportation for us to Petra and back, as well as back to the border for really reasonable prices and with really safe, responsible drivers. The camp itself is in...

The guide was so friendly and everything was possible! Camp is clean and basic. The food is really good and tents are comfy as well! From the camp there is a great view and sunset. There is 24 hour electricity in the camp, so no problems to charge your phone or camera

Fantastic time spent driving around Wadi Rum to get to the camp, and then being the only people in the camp meaning we had our excellent Bedouin guide Mamdouh. The conversation was fascinating and the food really well cooked, the tea was everlasting and tasted great. Beds were comfy and amenities were better than expected for camping. The stillness of...

Together with two friends of mine we spent one night at Mohammad's camp and we had a great experience! It was just a bit confusing in the morning with two pick up places we were feeling a bit lost but just till Mohammad picked us up to start the tour. He is a very good guide, friendly and ready to...

We loved our stay in the camp and activities offerred by them. It was cold out side but we enjoyed talk with Mohammad and other Bedwin camp staffs and guests of the evening around the fire in the tent. As the fine is under a big chimney, it is safe and warm. Food was axcellent, a tradditional Bedwin cooking with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The camp is small, intimate and very safe. It is in the south of the reserve, away from other tourists and far from traffic and worry. You will experience the serenity only found in the heart of the desert, and enjoy the dazzling night sky un-polluted by city lights. The bedrooms are Bedouin tents, both very attractive and comfortable, which open directly onto the desert expanse. The rest rooms are modern and clean, with flush toilets and showers with hot and cold running water. The dining area is a traditional semi-enclosed Bedouin tent with lounge, where you can recline to chat and drink endless cups of tasty local tea around the fire while gazing up at the stars. The meals are delicious and freshly prepared on site. You may even be treated to the melt-in-your mouth delight of zarb, a banquet of meat and vegetables slow-cooked the traditional way in an underground oven. The staff are polite and helpful, and available at all times to ensure your stay is perfect. ... more   less
