Stayed one night in Sept as a family. We loved the location and the room was comfortable even if a little dated. The waterhole right next to the lodge attracts plenty of animal, we had buffalo, elephant and rhino all stopping by for a drink. The hotel also leaves meat out for a leopard, we were lucky enough that the...

This was our second hotel on our safari. Have a wonderful view of the park and the rooms are fairly comfortable but the mattresses are quite hard! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and the food was nice. Have to be escorted to an from your room once it has got dark as the lodge is...

This is now called Rhino Valley camp, and is set on the hillside about 30kms from the main gate to the Park.. It is a delightful place with friendly and helpful staff, and very good food in a restaurant overlooking two waterholes. The rooms (individual chalets) have been recently done up and they were excellent, comfortable with a good bathroom...

Don't confuse with the Ngulia Safari Lodge. This is now called the Rhino Valley Lodge. We had an excellent room with great view of both the waterholes. Although the animals seem to prefer the waterhole on the right. There is no leopard feeding at night (which we think is good, because we prefer wildlife instead of it being fed). But...

Also listed as Rhino Valley Lodge. Do not confuse this with Ngulia Safari Lodge. There is a variety of accommodation options here and we stayed in the self catering bandas. We had previously stayed at Ngulia bandas in the 80s and 90s and could not believe the transformation. We stayed with friends in 1A/1B which have an inter-connecting door and...

We were at the ngulia bandas last week in july 2013. Rooms are terribles. Two suitcase in the same room and your done. I kept hitting myself on the wooden bed as there is no place to walk around the beds. Shower was terrible as the water was not going away...so that shower quickly transform into a bath....of 1 square...

We stayed in the camp one night during a 4 day Safari. The biggest difference to our other stops was the fact that you did not sleep in tents, but in solid houses nestled into the mountain with one wall being a moskito net. The rooms and bathrooms are really nice and the view from the restaurant is spectacular. Now...

Okay its not a 5 star hotel, but the view is at least worth 8 stars . Besides that, its great to be escorted to your room by this mysterious beautiful Masai man. The campfire late at night, was great, the host was very sympathetic and informative, the staff helpful and the food very good. If you expect 5 stars...

“Do not mistake this place with Ngulia Safari LODGE, these two even get mixed up on certain booking sites and some of the reviews and pics here are actually the lodge, not the bandas in the camp! This place is much more rustic, no pool, no big two storied main building etc. It is just the (truly beautiful) restaurant and the bandas.”
