We stayed 4 days at La Mira de Madio Rano, based on recommendations of our guide/driver. The hotel is set amongst baobab trees and bougainvilleas, which make for a great set up for lovely pictures, lovely colors set against the blue of the Mozambique Channel....More

Mira is clean and functional with unimaginative architecture and food. 4 hour snorkelling trip on a sailing pirogue was very good. Wifi is very poor and only in communal areas. Views and beach are lovely. Great 10km run west along beach. Hotel Bellevue (1km west)...More

We've stayed for 3 nights - we were travelling with 2 young children - in the low season. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the food was very fresh and tasty, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hi Pam, It's possible but to see a lot of fish and coral it's about 3km so it's better to rent a trip by boat or by pirogue at the hotel. Stéphanie
