This is a really great hotel!!! We had a fantastic time here and can't wait o return. We were treated like royalty from the time we arrived until the time we unhappily had to leave. The staff are fantastic, helpful, kind and polite. The food is varied and well cooked. There is plenty to see and do and the whale...

This is a great hotel, especially during low season when the hotel is virtually empty and the staff will basically wait on you hand and foot personally. The positives are the atmosphere and environment, the staff, the food and bascially all the services offered. The negatives are that there are only 6 TV channels and ALL are in Fench, but i...

We travelled for 2 and a half days to get to this place from Tana. Was it worth it? Oh yes! From the moment we arrived we were treated as though we were royalty- it was almost embarrassing and took some getting used to! I've never really stayed anywhere like this before- most hotels I stay in would be cheap...

This is the one place on the island that takes credit cards and that is why we ended up staying here when we were stranded in paradise for an extra day. No regrets for a one night stop; at the end of a pretty adventurous holiday I actually appreciated all the modern conveniences of aircon, very clean and spacious rooms,...

The Soanambo is a modern looking hotel. The rooms are divided into blocks of four with a central staircase (two storeys high). The rooms look straight out on the sea which is about 20 metres away. All rooms have a balcony or a terrace with two chairs. The small shower room is at the back with a large sink area...

We spent 6 wonderful nights at the Soanambo. The staff was attentive and caring, yet not overbearing. The manager, Madame Christine always present and open for questions or the odd chat. We chose the Soanambo to end our three week honeymoon trip and were welcomed with drinks, flowers and all the luxury you could want. The rooms are splendid, with...

The individual huts provided welcome privacy on our honeymoon. These suites were decorated very tastefully, spotlessly-clean and incredibly comfortable. The staff at Hotel Soanambo were courteous and very helpful - including those in the lovely restaurant in which we ate each evening. Hotel Soanambo provides a very relaxing stay - we spent hours playing chess in the bar - but...

I understood that this hotel is one of four others in a chain. (Masoandro Lodge, Napoleon, La Cocoteraie Invest) each of these hotel is very different. For example the Masoandro is more like a nature lodge whereas the Soanambo is a tree stars standards (with tennis courts, swimming pool and air conditioning) The food is excellent, The bungalows are facing...
