Got this room at Rm260 at Agoda. Good: 1. Beach facing balcony 2. Room is clean, spacious and with most basic facilities such as refrigerator, Astro TV (limited channel), air conditioner at living room and bedrooms, water heater, small kitchen with all the cooking utensils. 3. Good location which just above the beach site and best to local food restaurants such as king's CKT. 4. Has swimming pool but water is not so clean. 5. Easy check in and check out. 6. Owner is very good in response. Bad: 1. Whole building is old. Walls within the room is broken with small holes and it is not painted. 2. When it is raining, the walk way to the room is flooded. 3. Lift is very old and slow. 4.Need a shower curtain else bath room floor will be very wet.

Disappointed. The room is very dodgy, not so clean. The furniture seems old. Our check in got delayed until 4pm. They never offer late Check out to compensate. The restaurant at the beach side is very bad as well, open at 4pm-5pm. The waiter is not friendly and the service is very bad. Should've open in the morning when people wants to have their breakfast by the beach. Do something if u lack of staff. Get a friendly staff and grab the opportunity to recover the business instead. Such a waste when the hotel seems not prepared to operate after MCO, when people starts to travel and I think its the best time for the hotel to make a comeback. I wonder why tourism in Malaysia still far behind compared to let's say Indonesia. I'm not comparing but we still have this attitude when it comes to tourism. No welcome wishes, no greetings, what so ever from the staff. Come on, we pay to stay and I'm just being honest so the hotel guys can improve. No offense and goodluck. Cheers

Worst part: Cockroaches in the room. This hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. 1. On arrival, couldn’t figure out where to park because so confusing. No guard at guardhouse to ask for help. 2. We went to the Block A reception and there is no one there. Went to Block B and FINALLY, got someone to check us in. Walked all the way back to Block A. 3. Lifts were shabby and lightbulbs spoiled, very noisy and smelly. 4. When we opened the room door, THERE WAS A BIG FAT COCKROACH WALKING AROUND. 5. Each room’s bedsheets and towels got dirty yellow marks and the bathrooms look like haven’t cleaned and broken lightbulbs, how to bathe in the dark???!! Tried to call reception to send someone to fix the bulb but no one answer. 6. The entire room is full of old furniture which are peeling and breaking and some smell bad too. Only one aircon remote for 3 rooms. 7. in one of the rooms, the aircon is blocked by a cupboard and so the room cannot get cold at all. idiotic Dear hotel, you need to seriously call pest control and get rid of these disgusting cockroaches in the rooms before someone gets sick and needs to go hospital because of your dirty rooms. I can see all the other reviews are the same as my experience, so clearly Regency Tanjung Tuan will never put effort to change. If so, at least lower your absurd prices - Waste of money and ruined my holiday - don’t ever come here

This Resort is a mixture of people who actually own apartments and live here! People come here on weekends an holidays, they book a room for 2 or 4, but then bring the entire family 10 or more with their rice cookers etc, and expect much more than they know they paid for! This beach is the cleanest in PD. The sunsets are the best in Malaysia. Since Covid came into play the staff are still trying to get things rite! The Restaurant sells great food at reasonable prices. Use it! If you dont support then how the Resort can upgrade for you. Also, please respect the Residence parking! We welcome everyone here! We are all friendly, especially the old Uncle Lifeguard who has save many in the pool WHERE THE SIGNS SAYS 9 FEET, and when there is no lifeguard on duty!

This place is not suitable for handcapped guest in wheelchair. Besides the nice open seaview from the balcony, nothing else to be compliment. We stayed at a 4 rooms apartment. Each of the rooms with 1 faulty bulb. Tried calling for maintenance the phone not working. No hot water. Broken tiles in the toilet. Pool was not maintain properly. The pool is dirty. The pool deepest is 9 ft dept but no life guard on site. The pool stairs was missing. Hence u will have problem getting out from the pool. Landscape is nice and well maintained. With the rate they are charging is basically because of the view not the condition of the apartment. Water from sink was yellowish.

Poorly manage by a team of clown. Elevator are not working for months, only one working small elevator for six people in block A. Unless you would like to exercise by climbing the smelly garbage staircases go ahead! Look at the picture! And this place are not cheap. It's a scam guys! Good luck!

Only 1 star. Very bad experience for this place. Security issue, no guard at guard house. No receptionist at reception counter. Got very rude message on my car wiper said I'm wrongly park even after change to new parking lot. Crazy only one lift in operation, need que too long for peak hours when using stairs no light at stairs corridor at night dangerous you can't see your step. No dust bin has been seen to throw the rubbish. Mini fountain waterfall, water look greenish color likes no body to maintain it. No body can help you when you bring too many things or too many goods. In rest room, no water come out to wash your hand. Got aircond problem in your room, no body pickup your phone to respond; fix it/give another room. Not recommend this place if you plan your trip to Tanjung Tuan, PD. Please find better place...

Pros: good location, right on the beach, spacious and comfortable 4 bed-appartment, 2 large fridges, plenty of sunloungers by the pool Cons:no one at check-in so had to wait. Only 1 lift out of 2 working so a lot of waiting around, pool quite crowded. Bathroom windows didnt shut properly and the flush was leaking so my bathroom was flooded most of the time. The rooms didn't get cleaned at all during our stay. We even requested toilet paper at some point, which never came. But the major issue for us that we had booked this apartment because it specified there was a kitchen and in the pictures there was a gas cooker. However the gas was not connected. When we asked reception for gas we were told cooking wasn't allowed. This was not specified during the booking process so we had to throw away all the food we had planned to cook there. This was most disappointing as we had chosen this place especially for the kitchen since a couple of members of our party have serious food allergies and it makes eating out almost impossible.

We were just checked out today. Upon check in on saturday, some lights was broken. The tv set weren't work with the astro decoder. We've to call the maintenance throughout our stay there. The room and washroom was old. I just wonder why didn't the management upgrading everything? The elevator, was lousy. Only 1 elevator was functioning on the day we checking in. But on the day we checking out, both elevator was out of service! I would never ever recommend on stay- cation this place!

We had the 4 roomed top most unit suite.. upon entrance, the unit was awesome, split leveled, 2 bedrooms on the floor and 2 on the mezzanine. The floor rooms has a king in one and queen in another. The mezzanine rooms has 2 and 3 twin beds in each. And an awesome sea viewed balcony.. the downside... almost all bathrooms has leaky faucets... master bedroomsbedroom's showerhead is badly damaged... TV- very old CRT scrawny type.. with.. not working astro set top box.. the unit was not properly cleaned.. ours still has sticky floor as we went in bedroom lighting is badly arranged.. the lounge fan was set at highest speed with missing controller unit.. and no phone to tell them that an AC unit is not working.. we had to drop by the front desk as we are going to the beach.. ... no breakfast on the next morning.. Nevertheless, theres a restaurant within the area and some stalls at the beach.. sadly they are overly overpriced. there are two lifts but.. only one is working in the 10 storey hotel.. which makes waiting for your turn to go up and down, quite a miserable experience. Our 1st weekend of Nov 2018..was not a good one.
