+VE 1. Many activies offered to guests like archery, go cart, kiddy train, fishing, bicycle riding. 2. Swimming pool size is normal size. Full with guests during peak season. 3. Free parking. 4. Day bed in room is a bonus. -VE 1. Guest are not informed on how to check in (as the check in are not through hotel front desk), we needed to call the PIC and asked. The rooms here are actually owned by individuals/companies and rented out on on daily basis to guests. 2. Not much information on the type of room and amenities provided when booking was made. 3. Price was expensive despite no breakfast was provided. It was RM330+ per night for my room. 4. No toiletries except for hand soap provided to be used as shower gel and shampoo. 5. No hand/face towels. 6. No laundry bag.
Basically same water chalet run by 2 operators - Lexis Group and Wonderland Private Chalet. With Wonderland, I pay half the price of what Lexis group is charging. To be fair, Lexis group offered free breakfast, nicely renovated rooms, free wifi. However for travellers like myself who do not need the extra frills, I go for the cheaper option. I still get free bottled drinks, coffee making, hair dryer, clean bath towels, hotel quality beddings, same view and room configuration as Lexis. Bring your own toiletries unless you are fine with the TESCO shower gel provided. Host - Sean is very friendly. He contacted me via whatsapp before my arrival to confirm my booking. He collects payment in Cash only - any currency is ok with him. I didnt have enough RM so I paid him in SGD. I will definitely visit again soon.…
Review for Wonderland Private Chalet Room type: premium Seaview tower @Lexis PD It's more like staying in a Air Bnb apartment. The room condition is not properly maintained. For the rate that I paid, and looking at the condition of the room it's not worth the stay. disappointed. Pro's: 1. Has fun activities located at Grand Lexis PD (next to Lexis PD) : segway ride, game room, outdoor games, etc. 2. has quite a few choices on food outside of the hotel premise. 20min to town area if want to explore more. 3. Has very basic facilities like complimentary mineral water, mini kitchenette (not meant for cooking), mini fridge, jacuzzi, very basic toiletries (bath soap and shampoo dispenser attached to shower wall). 4. free parking. 5. Check-inand check-out was easy (no need to go to the front desk). Areas to be improved: 1. cleanliness: towels are smelly and old, bedsheets and pillows are smelly and need to be changed, cupboard is very dusty, TV cabinet is dusty, toilet floor is not clean and feels very sticky. 2. there's no housekeeper to help us change the bedsheets and pillows,to provide laundry bag etc. 3. The sewer from the washroom area need to be investigated. It is not properly functioned because the entire room smells even after flushing. 4. not all channels on the TV work. We ended up only watching 2 channels. The rest of it can't be seen. 5. mini kitchenette doesn't have tap, which leaves the kitchenette being redundant. 6. there's only 2 plug points (at the kitchenette and one of the bedside) . With a family of 4 that uses a lot of electronic gadgets, 2 plug points is definitely not enough. 7. Suggest to provide more toiletries such as tissue box, cotton buds, and the usual toiletries that any private chalet would provide. Yes, there is sea view but it is not as picturesque as I imagined. Don't set your expectations high. 8. There is no place to put our luggage bag. We had to use the bedside table. Usually chalets and hotels provide those. 9. The paint from walls at the kitchenette area chipped off from the leakage within the wall and it is not pleasant to look. 10. If you intend to bring a family member on wheelchair, then is not suitable place. Not wheelchair friendly. …
