We had a villa which was amazing lovely and clean and exactly as shown on websight. Checkin was easy and quick. Couple of negatives were the location which is miles from anywhere, we got a taxi to Port Dickson as we weren’t told there was a shuttle service. Food was disappointing. We tried the a la carte restaurant in the lighthouse and food was disappointing - it was cold. The hotel caters predominantly for the Chinese/Asian Market and we really struggled, Positives were room service, buggy service to the hotel, staff who are really great, quality of rooms. Nice to have would be ATM on site and larger shop for those on B&B . Overall good experience

Each room has a pool, so it’s a great way to allow kids to swim in this pandemic where all public pools are closed.

Room is nice, with 2 king beds. However, please make sure you request the room be cleaned and sheets changed every day, as there are bugs around. Me myself has seen my hands and legs bitten by some bugs during the night sleep. (Damn itchy, woke me up at 4am to write this)

Hotel separated online booking and call in booking check in at different rooms and only allow one person from each family to do the room check in. Suggest hotel to arrange a waiting area and provide welcome drink (eg: lemon water) for the waiting family members as it will leave unpleasant impression to the other guests who just arrive the hotel seeing a lots of people sit on the ground and some even queue under the sun.
For breakfast serving, perhaps to arrange the staff/chef to serve the meal/dish onto the plate based on the selection of guests. Pre-serve all the dish/meal on the plate could cause food wastage when it is not fully consumed.
Cleanliness of the room is ok.
Anyway thank you for the effort in following the SOP to ensure all the guests are safe.

What we got is totally different than what we booked (Grand Pool Villa- infinity pool) & we had to change the room twice due to the room condition is totally unacceptable. The first one, they give us the wrong room since we have booked the room with infinity pool but we received grand pool villa from lower room without the said pool plus aircond malfunction, then they put us in a room which still pending housekeeping from the previous guest. The condition is bad whereby there’s a left over of food on the table and the full dustbin. We finally ended up in a third room and we had to accept that the private swimming pool is not ready since they still fill up the water in the pool. (What?). We cant afford to change to another room since we had wasted like 2 hours just to get their staff to move us from one room to another. Surprisingly, the front desk staff was not friendly and helpful and there was not a single apologize coming from them. Totally dissapointed. I even have to line up & started the private pool water pump by myself since their front desk said it will start automatically, but its not. Not to mention the grass in mini garden left uncut, water ponding in the shower & malfunction curtain. I mean if the room rate is not expensive, i would accept this. Anyway the pool size is ok for my small family and we kinda enjoyed it. Thank you for the bad experiences & will think twice to coming back again

Booked the Grand Pool Villa for Rm790 by booking.com. Check in at 4.30pm, lobby full with people waiting for the room to be ready.

Room: Both blind curtain is not working, pool water is dirty, found used shower cap in the toilet, no laundry bag, aircond leaking in the middle of the room, water clogged in the bathroom area.

During check out, tried to call the operator for the buggy. No one pick up, then call the concierge, female staff pick up and I mentioned that i need a buggy to pick us as our room is quite far. Waited for 20minutes yet no one came. Decided to walk.

Found a memo in the room stated that extra people that stayed in the room will be charged, but why I’ve seen so many people in one room?

Very terrible service. We are not paying this price to get this kind of service. Please improve your housekeeping part. I know most of the workers are part timer/ intern student but please trained them properly as people are paying a lot of money yet this is what we get. Thanks

The room cleanliness of executive pool villa need to improve which housekeeping simply clean it. The room need major refurbish and lot wear and tear. Stains everywhere. Pipes leaked and not fixed. Breakfast is good with lot of choices. thumbs up for breakfast. Grand Lexis public pool is closed and need to use lexis public pool. Check in and check out is very fast and smooth. Overall. if you want indoor pool then come come here. else no need come.

You can opt for Lexis Hibiscus by paying little more.

Last and only visit.

Stayed in the Premier suite. Mainly excited for the private pool. However to our dismay the pool was only quarter filled when we arrived. It became a kiddy pool instead. Called the reception to complain about it, they send a maintainence guy to fix the problem, where the solution was to turn on the water pipe beside the pool in aims to fill up the pool. This incident happened during our check in. So even by checkout time the pool wasn't even filled!! (As attached in the picture, the water pipe was kept running overnight and tats the level of water by checkout 😢)

Water in the pool wasn't very clean. We all came out of the water with some itch n redness all over. The villa was pretty run down, one of the room air cond stopped functioning at 4am! Water pressure was low in the showers as well. The water was either too hot or too cold with no in between.

The only good thing I have to say is that the beds n pillows were comfortable.

Sadly, we did not enjoy our stay and the facility. Probably they r skimping on cost in view of the current low occupancy due to the pandemic.

FYI their checkout time is 11am. They clearly displayed it. Just found it weird, as most hotels checkouts are at 12noon.

After a very efficient check in process we went to our Premium Pool Room. It was very different to the photos - much older and worn - sliding doors to pool not working properly, ancient TV With no children’s channels and poor fittings. Besides the Bar, main swimming pool and pool cafe being closed by restrictions (accepted) we at least hoped for a decent meal in the evening but the food in the restaurant was very disappointing.
This is a hotel that is well past its sell by date and in need of an upgrade - and yet at RM900 a night is not cheap and not worth its star rating.

Room : Grand Sky Villa
Pax : 6 Adult, 1 infant.
Date : 17 - 18/12/22

We stayed a night at Grand Sky Villa but was dissapointed in a few issue.
1 ) Level 5 Parking Lift was spoiled. We have to walk up the stairs from level 5 to level 6. Told the receiptionist about it but nothing changed when we left.

2 ) The fridge for both the room is not working well. Our aircon is colder than the fridge. When the technician came, he only confirmed that the fridge is not spoiled and all the fridge is like this.

3 ) The breakfast was 1 star at the best.

4 ) A lot of the window and door in the room is spoiled.

5 ) 1 day before our trip, a staff of Grand Lexis called us and asked us if we are willing to change room as there is a glitch when the booking was made several weeks ago. When we asked what is the offer, they are giving us 2 rooms which value lower than what we paid. We are suprised and rejected the offer right away. You do not offer to downgrade a client's room because you made a mistake.

The only good thing about the place is that all the staffs are really really nice and polite. Especially the manager handling the breakfast area. He was very helpful and helped us as much as he can.

Tips for people who book this during the Covid crisis: checking in can take very long. We arrived around 3 pm on a Friday July 3, 2020 and had to stand outside in a cue. In the hot sun that is. After reaching the front door, you will be asked to sit in chairs in the lobby upon you are called to check in. This took us 1 hour. After this we had to wait 30 minutes for the electric buggies to bring us to the chalet. After all we reached our Chalet (2098) around 16.30 pm. They told us at check in our chalet would be full sea view. Well that was certainly not the case. First impression of the Chalet: dated, not clean, cigarette buds next to Private Pool. Nobody cleaned outside apparently otherwise it would have been noticed. A lot of hair stuck on the desk chair. Wet floors in the kitchen area and no floor rugs anywhere. (we had to ask for these) The Private Pool; still standing water! We didn't find or see a switch to switch on a pump, a jet or lights in the Pool. Makes you wonder how clean this pool actually is? Beds: stone hard resulting in painful hips and bones in the morning. The main pool and Pool cafe were closed, due to Covid we assumed? This was not mentioned on their website etc. Understand that some things are not going as usual but at least mention this on the site. Going back there? Not sure but will explore other places first. Back to the other resort with water chalets in PD then?

The set up is quite similar to Chalet with facilities within the room, but with the pool and room service, i would classify it more like a villa.
