1. There's dust on the wall and fan which you can see clearly. Under the bed, curtain stains. Cleanliness Simply unacceptable. 2. Toilet door knob broken. Toilet doors installed 5 inches above ground, i just don’t understand why 3. Drain hole cover trap are not clean causing blockage to shower drains, flooding at shower area. 4. Emergency exits are not lit at night. Emergency evacuation plan, direction to assembly area? None. CF certification issuance seems questionable. 5. Wet floor at lobby during rain. Insufficient staff to dry up the floor 6. No towels at the pool area. Wet slippery lobby floor after swimming in the pool. 7. Lack of deco, the hotel is very dull, you can’t see deco on the walls 8. Guards are busy playing with phones at the pool area during nighttime instead of doing surveillance. 9. The pool size is good but lack of maintenance 10. The beach is nice but you can see trashes by the beach. 11. Water supply disruption during stay due to pump maintenance. Shouldn’t happen since hotel shall have redundancy to disruption prevent unplanned downtime. Price wise, OVERCHARGED AND LOW QUALITY of room and services. ONLY 2 LIFT & SMALL to cover the whole hotel guest. People have to SQUEEZE in the lift during peak hours. Tons of improvement required Rating: 1 over 5 stars…
Hygiene wise not as what we expected. Cleanliness is questionable, 1. There's dust on the wall and fan which you can see clearly. 2. Toilet door broken, 3. Mug and kettle was NOT being cleaned from previous guest, 4. There was NO spoon provided to stir your drinks. I had a very BAD ALLERGIES REACTION due to DUST during my stay. With the price that we pay which is NOT CHEAP RM1800/night for 2 type of room (1 Family suite, and 1 two single bed room) BREAKFAST was NOT INCLUDED as they said, restaurant does not belong to hotel (if u want u can pay RM25/pax for breakfast). This however does not included in the room price. Family suite ONLY HAVE 1 BATHROOM and another 1 is only a toilet (NO SHOWER). For a suite that can accommodate 5 people only 1 bathroom is quite a disappointment. The pool is good, the beach is nice, the mattress and pillow is comfortable.. But price wise, OVERCHARGED AND LOW QUALITY of room and services. ONLY 2 LIFT & SMALL to cover the whole hotel guest. People have to SQUEEZE in the lift during peak hours. OVERPRICED & DEFINATELY NOT A 4 OR 5 STAR HOTEL PLEASE RECONSIDER TO STAY HERE.…
Was truly bored out of my wits the other day and scrolled through Netflix for something to amuse me. And I stumbled onto The Chennai Express. A Shah Rukh Khan movie with Prakash Padukone’s daughter and a famous director. How bad can the movie be right? That’s what this resort is all about. The well-managed and modern Pacific Regency Group whose KL’s hotel-apartments I frequent with much joy. We always complain that Port Dickson’s hotels are mainly 3-stars and not well managed except for a couple of resorts. Well, this resort is spanking new, a reboot of the old Ming Court hotel of yesteryears. But the services and hotel layout are so 3-star that makes you wonder perhaps the operator is following the required mundane standards of a hotel here. Poorly trained front office desk, wasted space right up to the beach front for a carpark(!), wet floors at the lobby thats never mopped, no beach bar to speak of, etc etc etc. The rooms are nice though, maybe because it’s new. But I guess that’s about it. So now we know why the room rates are equivalent to a 3-star. Was really hoping Pacific Regency would make a difference here in PD. But i guess they are just going with the flow. Needless to say, The Chennai Express movie was a total waste of time. I could have better used the two and the half hours watching funny cat videos. Pros: Room was spacious, with both ceiling fan and aircond. very near to the beach. pool was big and not crowded. Check in and out was smooth. large parking space. Cons : Room was very basic with no slippers, no prayer mat, no iron. Booked partial sea view and our view from room was basically swimming pool and big bushes. beach not so clean, suggest to drive to Pantai Saujana for clearer and cleaner water. Overall was ok, but a bit boring with no cafe or lounge. suggest to book sea view/ partial sea view to avoid getting the room facing on old abandoned big building.
Paid rm2600 for a room with pool, poor customer service, operator & room service dint answer, had to go out for food., Wi-Fi not working smart to not working, room nice but many stains on sheet, it’s like we were forced to stay because we paid, no valley/jockey. All this issues was not solved should have not paid without seeing the place, the place which has so much potential but being managed by inexperienced management, if you plan to stay, make sure bring your own food or tapau ,no extra towel by the pool use the same towel at the pool and for shower, not worth The money, can get a Wonderful bungalow with private pool for this price, never to return here.
Last stayed her in the 80s when it was the Ming Court PD! Structure remains the same but has undergone quite a bit of refurbishment.Place was very quiet for a Tuesday.Loads of free parking Check-in staff was very friendly and informative, eventhough he's only been with the hotel for 2 mths! Room was large and bed, although a bit on the hard side, was comfy.Room amenities was good but the AC was a bit on the loud side......Fan speed 1 was like normal AC fan speed 3,so,great for hot days but not for a quiet night's sleep! I paid RM 211 via agoda without breakfast. No F&B outlet seemed to be operating cos maybe it was the muslim fasting month.Wifi didnt work and no one answered my calls to 0 at night....for the price paid, cant complain Pool was large and clean.....definitely a plus for this place Hotel was abandoned for years and wifey was worried about lingering 'spirits' .....lol....however,we both slept well : ))…
We went there to celebrate Indian festival Holi along with group of 30+ families. It's a decent resort with good rooms ,awesome location and good service. Food wise we had our own catering so can't comment on food. But no doubt location wise it's very good as beach is just next to the resort and you can spend quality time watching sun set with your beloved family
Room was comfortable, spacious and nice as the hotel was done renovation. Cleanliness to improve, our room dloor was too dusty and we have to clean the floor by ourselves as we have 2 children playing on the floor, bed linen is clean but a lot of hair and we feel not so ‘clean’ even the linen was clean.. We ordered food for our evening snack,i would give the food 4/5..the price and the food that i get is worthy for me.. Pool is superb,we have twice pool time with our kid and they love the pool so well..Beach are clean and clear water.. What mos frustrating during our stay is towel in room..U might think it was a small matter but for us which is travel as family, extra towel should be one of our need..Surprisingly when i call reception asking for 1 extra towel as we have 2 kids the answers from the reception was trully and deeply spoil our stay, the will charge u for any extra towel given..This is ridiculous as the towel is a basic thing for all hotel i ever stay..And this is my first time in my entire life i stay in any hotel the will charge for extra towel..Are u kidding me? extra charge for 1 extra towel? Managment shoul see this issue seriously if they dont want loose their business in future.. For me,i would say i will never going back to this hotel.. But if u are looking for excellent pool and nice room this is hotel suit u.. If for service i would say not worth for as their proce is not bad too..Higher price.. Sorry to say, this is my honest review as your guest..…
Check In 26 September 2021 Book for King Sea View, given a view of swimming pool and trees- TOTALLY UPSET!!!! Do not expect for iron, hotel only direct you to iron room next to lobby. Do not expect hand sanitiser in front of lift. No signage of room been sanitise SOP for Covid to loose every in the hotels. Not recommend at all,
Paid extra for a deluxe king sea view room (not the other category which is partial sea view room), was expecting a full seaview from window or balcony, but the room given was facing a swimming pool with trees, right side can only see other hotel building, and left side has very limited sea view due to trees and other hotel rooms blockage. Called to front desk to double confirm whether the room type given was correctly, the lady asked to hold on the line, after checking then told me that it is a seaview room. Very disappointed with the hotel miss-leading description on “SEA VIEW ROOM”, recommend everyone to book a standard room will do, it doesn’t worth to pay any extra to view a swimming pool with trees for their so called “SEA VIEW ROOM”. Also, please ignore the pretty 3D illustration ID of their room & bathroom photos presented by their management on booking platforms, the actual room interior design is different and looks very normal.…
