Although the rooms are simple but i appreciate this hotel location. The staff are helpfull and im surprised that this hotel food way lot nicer than most hotel in PD. Visitor can watch beautiful sunset from this hotel
One of the great experience i have had in this resort in PD. Good parking space, spacious swimming pool area and good access to the beach. Got an Observatory besides the hotel. Calm and humble place to stay.
Went there for an office event. The front desk was responsive but could be friendlier as we need to ask for certain thing to get the info liked where's the breakfast going to be, where's our event being held. The lobby has some telescopes and pictures of night skies for decoration purposes but didn't really lift the mood. Hallway towards the room was also decorated with the pictures of night skies but looks dated. The room tried to reflect the feel of observatory which is just across the hotel building but somehow looked like any ordinary hotel room with some space decoration. Other electrical appliances in the room are working. Tv channels were limited to mostly local. Breakfast buffet is kinda limited too. Two main dishes like nasi lemak and some other nasi or fried mee. Continental breakfast menu is available too. The hotel has a pool area but you need to cross the parking area. It's nearer to the observatory compare to the hotel. The beach is accessible during low tide in the morning but there's like a pipe you need to pass to get to the main beach. Shops & restaurants are kinda far from the hotel so driving is advisable. There's a very small night market organised by the hotel's restaurant on Saturday' night. The observatory too will put a telescope out for public to view the moon for free but they didn't explain much. You can visit the observatory' huge telescope too at designated time but it is accessible by stairs only as far as I know. It is chargeable for non guest but during my visit there, there's no explanation too.…
Since this trip we bring our niece & nephew. Love the huge swimming pool. Even though its a school holiday with lots of people still we are having fun at the swimming pool. While for the room. Its a new refurbish and spacious. Breakfast buffet with variety of spread.
It is satifactory for me, toothbrush was provided, not as some reviewer wrote. Prayer robe/telekung and kain pelekat were also provided. We brought and ate our food at welcoming place outside restaurant using the hotel,s plate, fork and spoons. The telescope there was one of the best in Malaysia.
This is my 2nd time here previous was in 2016 but the service was different (it was excellent).Receptionists weren’t friendly, room service was dissapointing.Ordered food for 3 but received only 2.It took 1 hour for food to be ready (during non peak hour) and the staff did not apologize for late and incomplete orders.I came here to support muslim company but this is so frustrating.Room condition was so-so and had weird odour. With the price i paid i think it wasnt worth it.
Stayed 1 night at level 3 triple room overlooking the open sea. Resort staff were friendly and breakfast spread was decent. My kids enjoyed the giant whale slide at the swimming pool area! Location is near the ostrich farm.
Hotel entrance is warm and welcoming. They have receptionist with tudung. We were given a room facing an old bungalow. it looks like a ghost house. The room when we entered smells bad with cigaretts smoke and toilet was so so.There should be some improvement. As i have a OKU husband,he accidentally make the towel fell on the floor. According to the reception, RM5 willl be charged for the additional towel. I was actually request for a replacement okayyy. I am so unsatisfied for this. I'm not being stingy but what is good service meant for a hotel when towel replacement is to be charged though they have tonnes of towels. My kids love the pool. The amenities at the pool side are good and clean. Though the hotel is just beside the Baitulhilal, Pusat Cerap Teluk Kemang, the shore is not swimmable because there are lots of rocks and the shore not safe to be combed through. However the ocean view and sea breeze are superb. Food served during breakfast are so so. Just normal local meals and some cereals/cut fruits. Nothing much to boast. But the cafe is clean. I think we will not make a return visit unless i find a better reason.…
We came as a couple with a toddler on tow. The romantic arrangement was magnificent! Our room was beautifully decorated, candle light dinner went well, and pasma dinner offers variety of food, while giving back to the needy. And we get to see Mars at night! 😍
Stayed at the resort for 2D1N during my family trip to PD. My experience can be summarised as below: What's impressive: - Good location at the quieter section of PD at Teluk Kemang. - The biggest plus point of the resort is guests get complimentary access to the observatory centre which is just opposite the resort and on a clear day and if the timing is right, you get to see saturn, mars and other planets over their huge telescope. (Opens daily 10:30pm - 12:00am) What to expect: - Guests will have to dress up properly moving in and out of the resort (Note: It's a muslim theme resort so proper attire and basic decency required) - There are outdoor pools with separated male and female pools. There's a children pool with a nice little slide. - Room comes with basic amenities such as kettle, TV, towels and shampoo. No toothbrush, so bring your own. No in-room safety box too. - There's an in-house restaurant serving local and international food which opens till about 11pm. - Complimentary WiFi provided by relatively slow downlink / uplink speed. - It's a fair drive out if you wish to get food outside. What can be improved: - Walls are thin, can hear noises from next door and also along the walkway. - Breakfast tasted OK but could improve and if you drop in after 9:30am, you'll probably have limited choices. Final Verdict: - Decent but if you want a resort with beach, you may want to look elsewhere. - But if you are someone who's interested in astronomy, this is probably one unique resort that you want to explore. Having said that you can still come as private guest to visit the observatory by paying the access fee without needing to stay in the resort.…
