Was in Port Dickson for a project meeting, last minute had to walk in a nearby Hotel for a night stay to proceed for our next site agenda in Muar. E Hotel is very very simple boutique Hotel with no facilities , wireless connection is only available in the Lobby. The Front Desk Ladies told us the room television is not working. Room 105 is very small, has no table/chair for us to do/use our laptop for work. It supplies complimentary coffee sachet & bottled mineral water, but plug for kettle is far away at bedside . The queen size bed , set up with 2 soft pillows,is not comfortable, sank in the centre, when I requested for an extra pillow, the reply was “No extra pillow allowed”. Next I requested for a room change to a double queen room, the reply was hotel is fully booked. The shower holder is broken thus could not hold the shower proper . The aircon remote is faulty, we had to sleep under the direct cold air blowing 16Degree C. E Hotel is located within a row of shops and supermarket as well as a Fast Food Outlet next door. The noises from street beneath our room never leave us in peace till past midnight. !!!…
Overall the hotel is good for short stay (2D1N). The room size and the toilet size is big compare to other basic hotel. However the socket is really not enough which is just 1 in the room (excluded the 1 for TV). Hangers is only provided two in the room (please bring extra from your own house if u need it). There were two packet of biscuit given and two 3in1 nescafe provided however the glasses without holder provided without spoon to stir your nescafe (p/s: it is not suitable glasses for hot drink). Staffs are friendly. Location is strategic (beside the hotel is family store which is convenience.
Basically this is our nightmare. The aircond is not working. we have to switch rooms 2 times. and the bathroom is leaking. Staff insist we stay in the rooms without aircond and insist that the aircond is working. So troublesome!! have to call them 3 times and finally they agree to change rooms. Pro: Near the beach 30 min walk, 5 min drive. Near market, mamak stall, supermarket stall Cons: Near the street, you will hear the bikers racing, car drifting. You cant sleep. No extra towel. basically they will not change your towel. staff not friendly and sarcastic beware aircond is not working.
The room a bit small but if your plan for stay one night then i suggested this hotel.it maybe also suitable for people having more outdoor time, and just come for sleep. The facilities is basic, hair dryer, kettle, coffee, hot shower and tv. But for the mirror you only can found in shower room?? For services so far it's quite ok during my one night stay. The area very convenient because near with supermarket, restaurants and 7eleven. Poor with wifi.only can connect at lobby area only :(((( Pricing reasonable for comfort bed.
New, clean and satisfies a simple traveler's basic needs which are a clean, comfortable bed, strong-pressured hot water shower, quiet, efficient air-conditioning and accessibility. Tiny room but adequate. Wifi signal should be improved. Priced a little on the high side, say RM80 would be sweet and encourage more people like myself to drop by in PD more often. It's great for city-dwellers who just want to take a drive out of town, hang out at the beach a bit and have a good night's sleep before heading back home. They have a little pantry off the side of the reception where you can help yourself to instant-mixed coffee, tea and water which I felt was a very generous addition.
The e hotel is easy to find and their price are reasonable. The wifi at the hotel is weak and the wifi only can use at the lobby . They provide a computer to use but there are only two computer. The hotel does not provide an elevator and that make you so tired to up the stairs. The room is clean but the bathroom does have a lock at the door,it was so worst.
I was staying at this hotel for 1 night stay. The location was easy to find. If you go to Teluk Kemang, you’ll see a super market named Store E (if I’m not mistaken). The hotel is just next to it. Owned by the same company I guess. The room was clean but small. Not a big problem for me as I’m a solo traveler. They only provide local channels for the TV. The bathroom was clean. The WIFI connection was very weak. But you can use the pc at the lobby (probably the connection much more faster). They also provide hair dryer and kettle in the room together with 2 packets of instant coffea and biscuits. All in all, I’m satisfied with my short stay at this hotel. But with the RM120/day, they should provide at least 3 satellite channels and a better WIFI connection :) The reason I said this is because in my previous stay in Lumut, the room only cost me RM60/day but they still provide the guest with plenty satellite channels and very fast WIFI connection. Owh yes, before I forgot..not a very friendly customer service upon check in. She’s busy talking to the phone while attending me. The night shift staff (a gentleman) was more attentive compared to her. They are new and there’s always a room for improvement. First and foremost is the customer service :)…
All the hotel's amenities are first class, its a pity, the manager, one MR Richard looks like he has to attend a close relative's funeral...The whole stay was totally destroyed by this one man,he should be sent for a course in Public Relations..or better still, put him far away from the front desk,as far back as possible..Even on a non peak season,a late check out by 1 hour cannot be entertained, have been to so many hotels, stars rated and non star rated, never had to deal with such a sombre faced fron desk personal...
