We were staying at Deluxe Double Room with balcony facing off the beach and pool for RM225 per night (with tax and breakfast) for weekend rate. The room was clean and spacious but the bathroom a bit like a public toilet. Wifi a bit slow with just 1MB speed. Breakfast was okay if you're not fuzzy and must pre ordered as no buffet served due Covid SOP. Parking was limited and I've got to parked my car by the road side. The beach and its water was dirty and full with sharp stones and swimming is big NO but I saw some people in the water though. Swimming pool looks nice but it was closed due to Covid SOP. Overall it is a good place to relax but I don't think I'll come back to this hotel.

First thing first.. the lift is too small and old, the lift can fit around 3-5 person only at one time. On the first night, the lift is not functioning and we need to take the stairs to level 3, together with our baby inside the stroller. Pity my husband. The management should change/upgrade the lift due to safety reason. When I enter the room, it's quite a disappointment. The bed sheet was dusty and smelly. TV got 3-4 channel but not in a good coverage. The floor tile were super cold and there's no slippers provided. Toilet was okay okay la. Apart from that, the room is quite big. The balcony facing the beach and during sunset, you can enjoy the view from your room. Breakfast is so-so, food only available for breakfast and the nearest Malay stall around 10-15 mins from the hotel. Do bring your own food. Other than the room, they provide a big swimming pool. If you bring kids with you, please make sure they are under your supervision as their swimming pool quite deep for adult. The front desk staff was friendly, and there's one male staff/manager help us with our bags since we got baby together, he suggest a good place to visits and share his experience and always ask for our feedback. There's a beach behind the hotel but its not for swim as its not really clean. For relax/sunbathing, yes. Overall, its just an average stay.

Check in as family on Aug 4th, were given first floor but found the room cannot be locked properly as I have three females with me. Requested to change, were given 4th floor with sea-view. Front desk Malay gentleman was nice and accommodating. Breakfast was disappointing with few varieties, room was big but air conditioning was insufficient resulting in a restless night. Water heater leaking and room door was lacking in safety features. beach close by but found drain next to hotel where dirty water is being indiscriminately discharged into sea without proper filtration system. Could do with a lot of refurbishment. Pro : friendly front desk staff, helpful and friendly coffee house personnel. Beach nearby, sea view room Con : No safety for room locking, TV pictures very grainy, water heater leaking, air conditioning insufficient to cool down room. Price too expensive for a weekday.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were friendly, the place was spotless and the rooms were large. The hotel is located right on the beach which has big overhanging trees to provide shade over the golden sand. The beach is uncrowded and most of the people here are Malaysians. They are friendly relaxed people to be around and this made our stay very relaxing. It has a good pool too.

A lovely beach front resort situated along 9th Mile Port Dickson.Upper room floors have balconies facing the beach where you can view beautiful captivating sunsets in the evening twilight, something you really don't wanna miss.Rooms are well kept and clean.Daily good local and continental breakfast is served free. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, beach is clean and safe to swim.Restuarant is open and room service is available if you wish to make food orders. There are lots of restaurants along Jalan Pantai and Downtown, worth a drive in the evenings.Overall a nice quiet resort to stay run by a Malay owner who owns another Akar hotel in Kuala Lumpur.Normally weekends,Public and School holidays occupancy rate is high so you have to make your booking early.Selamat Datang and happy holidays to Port Dickson about an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur city.

This hotel is nice enough for a 2-3 star but it’s tired and the lock on my balcony door didn’t lock- so a bit of a security issue. It’s right on the beach but a little too far out of town. A basic Breakfast Buffett served daily but then the restaurant is not open during the week for lunch or dinner. The restaurant only operates on the weekend. No food available only a kiosk that has 2 minute noodles and some chips. The closest warungs are about a 20 minute walk away. Taxis need to be called from Port Dickson township. I wish I had done my research better as I would never have stayed here so Ive cut my stay short as I fear I’m going to starve to death.

I booked 2 bookings under the same name. Guests for the other booking arrived earlier and proceed to check in. Receptionist did an offline charge for both bookings (RM 1xxx) to my credit card without informing me and allow the guest to acknowledge the payment to MY CARD. I advised the staff that it is wrong to do that and only offered to void sale. No apologies by the staff on her mistake and keep on denying that she is right. I would be cautious when making future reservations for this property. Deluxe room was fairly large. Bathroom is very cramped and floor tiles were cold with no slippers provided.

Booked 2 rooms for just one night. Slightly high price likely due to the beach side location. Short drive to Teluk Kemang beach as well. Not much variety for breakfast. Reasonable cleanliness and facilities (including pool)

I booked and pay for 3D2N on 25th January 2018, this is the most terrible hotel I ever tried. I am a travel and tours agent, to our line of service this hotel’s service attitude is terrible, the front desk people behave as if we check in without paying, after into the room, the bath room was so damp dirty full of sand as if the beach cane into the room, the TV is useless, any program will turned out with snow and lightning, wardrobe only have 2 hangers with super height any 5 feet 6 inches guy also can’t reach. The water supply flows like muddy water which we took our shower externally afraid to get skin allergy. All whom interested with this hotel please do not try, all u will get us your holiday crash in disaster!

Travelled with 3 kids (8y, 5y, & 1.8m). Satisfied with the stay. Room was spacious, cleanliness OK but spotted some stains on pillow sheet & curtain. Pool is big, the depth up to 6ft. But has kids swimming pool, thus my kids enjoyed so much. Cleanliness in the pool can be further improve. Overall, OK. Breakfast selections are OK: during our stay, the menu ware nasi lemak with egg & anchovies (delicious sambal), mee goreng, kuew teow goreng/nasi goreng, sausage & fries, basic toaster counter, porridge with condiments, cereals (2 choices), juices (mango & orange) & tea & coffee. If you are searching for a quiet place to spend your holidays, i would suggest you to come not in scholl holiday seasons. As the noise can be heard inside the room. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay & will come back in the future.
