Overall is a nice stay. It pales compared to its past, visibly sign of age and lack of maintenance. Might be due to the lockdown over the last two years. The worst is the lack of social control at restaurant, whereby patron walk around the foods served without gloves on even though the rule is there. The staff attitude is great, friendly and helpful, and this is throughout the resort, from the front desk, restaurant, to the cleaners.
Came here since 2015, from my company teambuilding to family visit. We came here back to back every years since 2015 and last before MCO, during CNY holiday in Feb 2020. This is our first revisit during pandemic era. Never get bored, never get tired to come here again and again. Definitely our family favorite resort when staying in Port Dickson and my 10 years old son, declared that this is his favorite childhood hotel as he came here since 3 years old young. Glad that the management Avillion PD slowly took initiatives to refurbish the room and facilities row by row. The TV in the room itself now using smartTV and provide netflix and youtube where the kids love so much. We di hope that cochin adult pool can operate normal like before 24hrs and village pool can operate till 9pm. We love everything about Avillion even we have visited here more than 10 times. Our first choice when visit PD and hope more improvement and activities in our future visit. Thanks from all of us EZulkifli, HeeDayah, Ariq & Aniq ❤️…
I like the idea of water chalet, however the poor maintainence of hotel room and facilities was disappointed slightly. The bedsheet was dusty, and many bird droppings at the balcony. Some of the windows curtains (fences type) was not working well and unable to enjoy fully. The air ventilation of the room was not good, Dust on table, television, tissue box, window like this room not being stay for very time. Some blanket was not clean, some stain on it. After the stay, I felt little skin discomfort. However the price is still affordable and thumbs up for the service at the entrance.
I used to like this hotel so much but disappointedly visit after MCO. We booked 3 rooms, 2 rooms toilet door can hardly open, 1 room toilet bowl unable to flush, 1 room air-cond malfunction. All the toilet bowl isn't clean well & stained. Petting zoo used to be free feeding zone but now need to pay & only few animals in it. The most yucky is that swimming pool with hairs floating, my girl refuse to swim again. Although the hotel disappointed me but the staffs there are friendly & helpful. Hope the management will improve on this.
Check in counter staff not friendly at all. The face look like you never pay and begging to stay for free. The room i booked is water chalet. Chalet in terrible condition. Room looks very old. Room very dirty. Dust on table, television, kettle and window like this room not being stay for very time. Toilet smell terrible due to poor ventilation, stain everywhere on toilet bowl, worse than public toilet. Broken chair in room but not fixed. Bird droppings at balcony but never clean. Can see many ants at toilet basin, wonder if they ever do pest control. This chalet is seriously overpriced. Not worth to visit at all! With price almost RM600 i can get much more better hotel else where! Also, they try to earn as much as possible from guest. The signature round balcony surrounded with water can only let u enter to take picture if you pay RM35 for 1 cockctail from 12-5pm. The price double up with only dessert served if you wish to visit in the evening. What is this? Is this part of hotel facility as it named as avi lounge?? Why as hotel guest, we need to pay extra to access hotel facility??…
