Frankly I felt heavy hearted writing our unpleasant and uncomfortable stay at Avillion PD for it being our favourite Resort. We have stayed at Avillion several times previously and experience a top notch service and always enjoyed our holiday thoroughly but now I'm compelled to post this review for its horrendous experience; turning our holiday into a nightmare. 1. Registration at Check In Process It takes long time per visitors. There receptionist never bothered to greet or smile but gave us a stone-cold look, no eye contact clearly and certainly lack of training. In short non existent of customer service. Most unpleasant part was there was no apology for the waiting time and not even a thank you remark. To add insult no potter to help us with the luggage. Thank God we knew

Dear JulieJacky1, Greetings from Avillion Port Dickson. Thank you for taking time to share this review with us. We appreciate your feedback which gives us the opportunity to continually improve our hotel facilities and service standards. It is with utmost regret to learn that your stay was marred with request which was not met and concerns of the room cleanliness, conditions of the water chalet, unpleasant towel smell, faulty air-condition and also the food quality. We are truly sorry to have fallen short of your expectations. There is indeed no explanation for the shortcomings but to extend to you our most profound apologies for the inconvenience caused. Rest assured that remedial actions have since been taken including a review of our procedures to ensure such similar incident will not reoccur in the future. Customer service trainings have already started which also includes a full preventive maintenance of our water chalets. We are confident, as a result of these actions that the resort will emerge as a more reliable and even more customer responsive resort than ever before. Julie, we do realise that the unpleasant experience has marred your impression of Avillion Port Dickson; however we hope that you will give us the opportunity to redeem ourselves. May I request that you contact me directly at kenneth@avillionportdickson.com so that I can address the concern directly for your next visit to ensure that your stay is of better comfort. . I know that this gesture will not diminish the inconvenience that was caused. However, it is our way of thanking you for your understanding and patronage. Once again, we appreciate your time in sharing this review and hope that we will have a chance to welcome you and your family back and recover your impression of the Resort. Thank You. warm personal regards Kenneth Perreau General Manager

First weekend out since C19 restrictions eased; it was good to ‘cuci mata’. Obviously not all the restaurants and bars were open but they did their best. However it puzzles me that in Malaysia where people love and understand food that resorts such as Avillion serve such indifferent food. Nothing particularly wrong but nothing especially right either. Odd, after all is is as easy to prepare good food as it is mediocre. We had an over water chalet which could have done with some TLC but there seems to be a renovation project underway. Otherwise the room was very nice and I enjoyed fishing from the balcony. The club lounge was appreciated. The staff were very nice but some of them could do with some more training. Very convenient from KL but needs improvement.

Pros: - superb location - welcoming and attentive staff - decent breakfast - when i asked for cake at the front desk past their operation time at 9pm, the staff went out of their way to request it - well kept hotel grounds - has astro sports channel Cons - room 910, water chalet i stayed in, between the ceiling and roof were a family of bats. Making screeching noises throughout our stay. - a bat managed to pasd through the ventilator in the middle of the night. - hopefully, the hotel can clear out the bats Otherwise, room is old and tired. Sandy and dusty. The wood and floor boards need replacing. - hot water runs for 2-3 mins then becomes cold - furniture is very old. Personally would not return without full refurbishmen. Staff deserve a payrise though.

Its my 2nd visit..My 1st was around 2016. Standards have dropped. The Pros are as follows: 1. Water chalet rooms are big enough for 4 persons.Plenty of pillows available, but for the day bed, you ll need to bring your own blanket. 2. The hotel grounds are still well kept. 3. Check in/out process is reasonable. 4. Restaurant breakfast was adequate just no buffet style as due to covid SOP The cons : 1. Not enough towels given to the room/toilet-no hand towels, no bath mats given When you call housekeeping-the reply was-it needs to be requested. So I requested. No one came to give the towels despite waiting for long time. Finally, I had to go out -walk around to the other end of the hotel and I saw some house keeping staffs with their supply trolley and request for it
