In the wake of Covid19,my wife and I decided to travel to the nearest holiday destination from our home. We had been to Avillion to attend our friend's beach wedding ceremony some years ago. Everything was fabulous, we enjoyed every bit of our time and left with sweet memories. So what we thought would be a perfect place for short weekend stay turn out to be a horror of experience; the Avillion we experienced once was no where to be found. As quoted by William Wilberforce '"You may choose to look the other way but you can never say again that you don't know".Thence, being in the legal profession, we feel obliged and responsible to highlight our distasteful stay here at Avillion, for the sake of future holiday makers.Let me share. From the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and also Recreation, we have undoubtedly failed. The services which was rendered is definitely not what we want to portray here in Avillion. My sincere apologies! We have recently embarked on the refurbishment of the property starting with all the walkway wooded platforms. There are now rooms being done as showrooms before we moved into full refurb of all the Resort Rooms. You will definitely see the changes in the next 6 to 12 months into the year. Coupled with back to basic training and development for all our employees including the Management Team. This will surely make an impression to everyone staying here in Avillion, on customer service and impactful rooms. I do hope we can welcome you back again to our resort once everything is in order. the front desk service was good. However, the moment enter the room, can feel the floor is dusty and sandy. toilet is dirty and water pressure was low when i took a shower. when the 'neighbors' move in i can feel is noisy as the sound proof of the room is pretty poor.

Upon arrival, we have Q for almost 15 mins as only 2 counters were open during the weekend when we arrived at 3PM on Saturday. The resort looks old and run down. We have specific the room type we wanted during booking, but upon check-in we were informed that only twin bed is available because other guests arrived earlier than us has already been given the rooms that we wanted. So, we ended up having a twin bed instead of a king size bed. We checked out the facilities around and notice that people were not with proper attire in the swimming pool. There seems to be no implementation of swimwear, so most of the people were wearing a normal shirt and short pants inside the swimming pool. For breakfast, no SOP were implemented. Strict procedures on swimming attire has always been adhered to at all our swimming pools. This is definitely the standards of all hotel swimming pools around the world. We always enforced it accordingly. With reference to the SOP's, strict compliance must be practice throughout the Resort. The authorities make regular checks at our Resort. We will ensure all guests wear proper gloves which is given by the Restaurant staffs all the time. Loved this place so much. But the staff in lounge (Haffiz) makes it all feel lousy & unwelcome. The place was quite and he's a bit angry when we came for evening cocktail (he's probably in the middle of watching movie or something else and were annoyed that we disturb his 'happy time'?) the place was empty when we came. Everything else was wonderful except that experience in lounge. The assistant manager & staff in lobby was friendly & helpful. Brian who showed us to our room was great too. But i rated 3 star because of my experience in lounge. Haffiz is not suitable to be in lounge with that attitude.

My family and I (2a+2c) have been visiting Avillion since a decade ago. Service from the heart have always been its trademark and impressed us utmost. We were convinced that it was one of the best in PD where we were one of its strongest advocate, happily telling all our friends how wonderful and enjoyable holiday we spent at Avillion; and importantly not to be influenced by any unpleasant reviews. Now, we have not been for any holiday since the start of C19 pandemic, so we decided to have a well deserved break at AVILLION on last weekend. Unfortunately our holiday left my family and our friends speechless in disgust, a horrible way to end our holiday, letting me and my wife embarrassed for inviting them.
