Service by manager excellent & location 5 star however inside the room didn't have TV and shower rack not in good condition. BBQ facility cost RM100 per night highly rubbish because you can only can get rusty old BBQ pit and table. The pit not suitable to use anymore due to bacteria from rust
We first stayed in NAAM Boutique Lodge in 2014 & later in 2016 and the recent stay was from 22 to 24 Aug 2018 where we took up all the 10 rooms. To our surprise, they are able to maintain this place very well where the surrounding is still good, the rooms are clean and overall is just great. This time, we were not allowed to cook and we have to used their Caterer which was disappointing where the foods were far below par for a Negeri Sembilan reputation on good foods. Another area where the Management has to improve is the security where the public could walk into the lodge’s vicinity which was already fully occupied by us. There should be proper notice to advise the public when it’s fully occupied. This place would be really great & conducive if all the badly maintained stalls in front of the Resort are removed where we could see the beach and sea from the front of the Lodge.…
Truly, our stay over the Chinese New Year 2017 for 2 nights at Naam Boutique Lodge,Port Dickson, is without any regret. The minute you park your vehicle at their gated private parking lot and enter the 2 storey bungalow, you feel its absolute cleanliness- shoes off at the door before you step in. The spaciousness and coziness of the lounge/lobby and reception hits you. Their kitchen has hot and cold/warm water drinking pot and mugs in the cupboard for your use anytime day and night. The room all so clean and comfortable, wonderful shower as well. The lounge on the upper floor has a service counter with washing sink and a fridge for your use. There are 6 rooms upstairs and 4 downstairs. It also has two wall TVs, which is family friendly and one can choose your channel for watching. You can bring your own food and have nice & easy breakfasts in the mornings and not go out until after your breakfasts leisurely. The patio outside is large with dining tables and chairs, sit and chat and watch the sunset. The Telok Kemang (8th Mile) beach and sea is right across one small road. Endless happy activities and day picnickers, Malay food/drinks stalls are all lined up under canopies with beach chairs and tables for rental. All the noise will not reach you at the hotel. So would you not call this 'Home away from Home'…
Naam Boutique Lodge is a budget accomodation carved out of a beach fronting bungalow lot. Rooms are pretty limited and hard to come by during weekends. Parking within the compound is limited but highly recommended to park your vehicle inside especially during weekends as there are sizable crowds of motorcycle groups who convene here and sometimes can get a little rowdy, rare but better safe than sorry. The room we got was adequately spaced and offers very basic amenities and comfort. The bedding wasn't 5 stars but did the job anyhow. The air conditioning unit was sufficient to keep the room nice and cooling. There were quite a lot of mozzies during dusk so be sure to keep your room door closed. The coolest thing about this place had to be the open air seating on the supersized balcony on the first floor. We spent a couple of hours soaking in the quiet and cooling environment. Overall we had a pleasant stay and will consider returning again on our next visit to Port Dickson.…
Room and toilet is dirty, surrounding was also not well maintained. We were there just to check out if the property worth to rent, but we couldn't even spend a night. Not recommend if your want to rent the whole unit. Good location tough
Went with my familiy for one night.Good location just infront of the beach.Just...the moment checked in to the room the bangladesh staff not so friendly and can't understand english or malay well just throw the aircond remote at the bed and after paying only tell the guest there is no tv in the room.Even tissue also not provided in the rooms. The night time surrounding area is so quiet and safety is the main concern as there's only us staying in the lodge and with only 2 bangladesh staff taking care such a huge bungalow.dont go during low peak season.
We recently stayed 2 nights on a work + leisure trip with our 2 kids. It was great because there were no other guests and we had the whole hotel to ourselves. Free parking and our car was right in front of our room. Very near to the beach and there are a number of stalls selling food. The only annoying thing was that some people at the neighbouring hotel were singing Karaoke past midnight. Fortunately the kids were too tired and fell asleep despite the noise. Felt a bit overcharged because there are better hotels which charge less compared to Naam, which has just basic facilities - no TV or water boiler in room, no tea or coffee bags either or toiletries apart from soap. However, there is a Coway water purifier with hot and cold water in Kitchen. Just a few points for improvement: The door handle had fallen off and they had stuck tissues in the hole which left a bad impression. This could be easily fixed. One of the staff did not seem to understand when I asked whether they had hot water in English and in Malay and was helpful only after I started talking in a combination of Hindi + Bangla. However on the bright side, very friendly uncle made us Coffee at night. Also the staff allowed us to extend our checkout by an hour with no extra charges.…
This lodge is very near the sea, homey type of retreat. A lot of food stalls nearby, plus all the necessities of water sports ie banana boat, jet ski etc. Car park in the compound of the bangalow. Barbeque pit is also within the compound. They have washing machine and all the necessities of a kitchen.
Pro's : -It is close to the beach. -Beautiful view from the balcony. -A good place to bond with family and friends or even gathering. There's a well equipped kitchen downstairs and a place for BBQ. -Spacious rooms. -Towels, shampoo and soap are provided. -The toilet is clean. Cont's -The room is a little bit dusty. -You can hear noises from the outside when they hang out at the common area. -No coffee or tea or electric jugs inside the rooms, however, you can get hot water from the kitchen downstairs. Tips : Suitable for relaxing and getaway from busy life. You should bring your own foods or just walk around, you'll find stalls and shops. Bring mosquitoes repellent because when you open the window a lot of mosquitoes will enter.
This lodge is still fairly new with very clean rooms and surroundings. Location is great as it is just steps away from Teluk Kemang beach. We stayed in a family room (queen + single). Beds and pillows were just average while TV is only available in lower and upper hall areas. Coway water filter available in well-equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove). Lots of space for kids to run around. Shower area available at the side to wash away the sand before going indoors. Parking would be a bit of a challenge if full. Overall, a good place for a no frills beach getaway.
