Detailed Reviews
We liked: private location, beach front chalet with comfortable bed, service minded staff smiling all day, local and italian dishes plus fish of the day, which you complement e.g. with veg and rice, swimming (be careful at low tide for stony rocks). We enjoyed our 4 night stay.
What can be better: coffee machine iso coffee bags, green or herbal tea next to black tea, water pressure of the shower (we managed).
Snorkeling trip was ok, but we saw few fish.

We stayed 7N at Melina Beach Resort and the stay was superb. Located directly at the Beach in the middle of the jungle you can spot a lot of e.g. butterflies and just in front of the resort you can go easily snorkeling. The whole team is extremely friendly and takes care of all their guests. This remote place is highly recommended and very good to wind down

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay in the Beach Front Chalet ….. sharing the resort and private beach with just one other family for the first couple of nights probably make the place felt more exclusive (as it was weekdays and government just approved interstate travels).
We didn’t leave the resort at all, for 3 nights which i think is manageable if you have some friends or family around. Food are good and some Asian dishes are really delicious…… probably same price range as what you pay in KL restaurants/Pubs.
Thanks the team in Melina!

We enjoyed our 3d2n getaway here to Melina, the beach was nice for morning walks and discoveries of animals. D' sunset view had an awe moment, great photos taken. Snorkeling in 3 spots was easy breeze, and you can see school of pretty fishies and colorful coral reefs. U can take a stroll to the next village, est 20-30mins? Food in Melina was pretty good, anddd added with the view, perfect. Lyza and her colleagues were awesome! So attentive & helpful :)

Though this resort does not offer typical amenities like swimming pool, multicuisine restaurant etc., it offers much more for which beach vacation meant for. Best features are : private beach, golden fine sand, ample amount of tree shadow on beach, canoeing (without any charge), snorkeling etc.
As number of rooms limited, it never feel crowded. They offer limited food menu, but food is good.

Super staff. Very comfy chalet. Nice food, great snorkelling in the neighbourhood.
But most of all the kind reception and service by hostess Lyza. A joy to make the booking. Proactive arrangements for the ferry and accommodating for late check-out

What a truly amazing place to stay. The people here are fantastic. They just couldn't do enough for us from the boat that picked us up at the jetty to the warm welcome on the beach. Eimah and the owner really take care of the guests. They went out of their way to cook special meals for our kids. It felt like we were staying in the home if an old family friend. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are simple but incredibly clean. The kids loved the bunk beds. We swam at the perfectly clean beach sorklled and went in the Kayak. They organised an excursion for us in their boat. Just a really really wonderful place to stay if you are going to Tioman this is definitely the best place to stay. Beautiful, peaceful, simple and welcoming but the warmth of the staff and the care they take make it a sublime experience

We were actually staying at Berjaya in Tekek Village. We took a water taxi for a day trip to Genting and did a little walk round the coast. We stumbled upon Melina Beach resort and decided to stop for lunch. We were greeted with such warmth and kindness and hospitality. The restaurant was spick and span, spotless and clean, such a welcoming place for a beach side restaurant. The food, was the best we had on the island! If I do go back to Tioman, I would love to stay here.
