My friends and I supposed to visit before MCO and finally got to visit it now. Reading many super bad reviews here truly made me worry but still, we have to face it right. Honesty, it’s quite pricey compare to the room rate to what you will get staying during this time. The room was nice, spacious and at a good spot facing the beach. Grateful to have that. Nothing to pick except the spoilt fridge which is not cooling at all. We didn’t complaint about it because it’s okay. If to pick something, I felt the lack of sensitivity for a triple sharing room. If our room is meant for 3 person, the room attendant should feel sensitive enough to provide all amenities for 3 person. Except 3 bath towels, nothing else they remember this is a 3 person room. No floor mat, no hand towel till

We recently spent several days at Tunamaya Resort. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and frustrating. Clearly the resort is not yet ready to operate, despite being open for more than a month a half. The staff -though friendly- appeared woefully untrained. The service and maintenance were inefficient. The food was awful. Tunamaya cannot aspire to be a “luxury resort” and serve such ghastly food and have such service. The resort has no access to data and only very slow WIFI around the reception area; it wasn’t working during half our stay. On the plus side, the location is beautiful, with a very nice beach in front and a tropical forest behind with steep mountains. But basically, we were stuck at the hotel since there are limited mobility options. The boat taxis

We had a pleasant stay in Tunamaya. We booked 1 beach family room and 1 garden family room but has been upgraded to the beach family room. The beach is beautiful but full of shells. So make sure to put on your beach shoes to avoid scratch or wound. The customer service was efficient enough despite of the hit from covid-19. The boat transfer from Genting to the resort was also on time. The food price is a bit pricey for locals but nonetheless all are decent. My boys had a great time not just swimming, kayakking, snorkeling but also fishing! We were so lucky to get a decent size (~2kg) fish that day. Then, we asked the resort chef to cook the fish for us. It was delicious! Thank you Tunamaya for the excellent services👍🏻

The resort is really nice n the beach in front of the resort is just amazing with live coral right at your doorstep!! But the place needs some major maintenance ... we were with some family friends who had to move rooms not once but twice for a 3N4D holiday....!!! First time the toilets weren’t working n the second the shower wasn’t. Although the staff were really friendly and helpful their hands were tied as the resort was really full! Due to the RMCO the food options weren’t too good either n they didn’t have too many supplies coming in! One thing PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ... I repeat DO NOT order the cocktails at all!! Stick to beer as they really don’t know how to make any!! All in all it was a decent holiday as the water n beach was really nice in front of the hotel!

I was initially nervous about staying at the Tunamaya after seeing the reviews of the hotel left in July but I am SO HAPPY I decided to come anyways. There was no remains of any oil spill only super turquoise & crystal blue water. The pristine beach is really the star of this hotel if you ask me. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Everything you need to feel like you’re staying in a nice hotel. They also send cookies to your room every evening! While it did feel a bit understaffed, the staff here always had a smile on their face and were extremely polite. Food wise there is only one restaurant but there are good Western and Asian options. Portions are big. I do advise you to load up on snacks and mosquito repellent before you come as the convenience store
