Had a great stay in this resort during 15 mar to 19 mar, the room we stayed was room 107, the hot water in shower room is not functioning well. The room is not air con room but not an issue because very windy at night and don't feel hot at all. The food is average, the best part of...

Sipadan Water Village (SWV) is one of the best resorts I have been to! We spent 4 days 3 nights there - basically to eat, sleep, snorkel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt very happy and relaxed staying there. Not to mention, mabul island is really amazing. I feel that I need to get my diving license...

The food was "ho hum" but the feeling of being away from it all was very cool. I loved the diving and even the snorkeling was amazing. The water is clear and the amount of fish and underwater life was massive.

First let me say that any review should be taken in the context of where this resort is located. It is in the middle of nowhere. You go there because it is in the middle of nowhere. This makes maintenance and renovation very difficult. Everything has to be brought in by boat. That being said SWV could use a lot...

I will say the diving was great! The dive operation was very well run and the dive masters were friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed both Sipidan and the house reef. We would definitely highly recommend the diving! However, the resort itself, while once likely beautiful, was in sad disrepair and overall very disappointing. We had a group of around 20...

Sipadan Water Village is a lovely simple destination for Divers. If you're looking for high class and sophistication then Sabah water resorts are not for you. The staff were incredibly friendly and our group were welcomed with a smile every time. They bent over backwards to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The dive centre at SWV is excellent. Jimmy,...

I read numerous not so positive reviews about SWV prior to going but expected it to still be a good holiday. We booked the resort since we have a local agency that partners with them in Thailand. The rooms were old and quite poorly maintained. A number of different things went wrong here. 1. My group of friends and I...

As per title. Great place to stay. Not to mention, the dive school was great. Professional team running it. Had no problems with airport transfers. Pickup van was waiting for us outside arrival hall to drive us to the jetty. The one thing I would comment on would be the food quality. Some days were great, but most days were...
