The food is very nice especialy the burger and the best smoothies I ever had And then the place is so beautiful especialy at night.. 1 months staying at sandakan is the best places I been, I also meeting this nice lady who assist me during my dinner and explain about the menu and sharing his favorite place.. Thank you miss umi and his friends for the great dinner!

This was my first time come to SANDAKAN and staying at ELOPURA HOTEL...the room was cozzy and clean.. Also the out door restaurant have a nice sea view.. And the staff also very friendly and helpful... Especially ms umie very nice person n beuatiful girl... She was sharing a lot of info about nice place to visit and a litter story about sandakan... I definitely be back in the future.

I would like to share my experience of vacationing in Sandakan in January 2023, this is the third time I came to Sandakan and stayed at The Elopura Hotel, Sandakan. I am no stranger to the hustle and bustle of Sandakan town and I really like it.I had the opportunity to talk with the Hotel Manager Mr. Razi (sorry I don't remember his full name) What I can share is that his interaction with us is very professional and I admit he has been in the hospitality industry for a long time. He explained to me about the background of The Elopura Hotel and a little history about Sandakan . Indeed, he is very knowledgeable about the field of hospitality and I myself, who have worked in hospitality, admit that he is a true hotelier and deserves to be a Hotel Manager because of his excellent customer service. I rarely give compliments, but I am very pleased with Mr. Razi's manner and speech because he has extensive knowledge about hospitality. I give credit to him and the entire staff of The Elopura Hotel for having the best employees and providing excellent service. WELL DONE! …

We stayed for a night before heading up to Sepilok. The hotel is good, clean and the rooms comfortable. It is a practical hotel, with no luxury but all the essentials. The location is ok but a bit noisy. The breakfast was a bit disappointing especially for Westerns. But if you're looking for a clean comfortable room for a short stay at a reasonable price, this is an option.

PROs..... Love the hotel setting.....courteous & prompt staff& service. Clean big enough rooms. Rooms with smart TV, so can watch YouTube...and Netflix (sign in own account). Equipped with mini fridge. We asked for an extra pillow, it was sent in 10mins. Same, when we asked technician to help check air cond setting. Very responsive staff. CONs... The area is messy & crowded. Roads narrow, limited public parking (coupon parking fees). Day1, we parked in front of hotel with 24hr Hotel security guard but the next few days City Hall officers instructed to vacate all vehicles to make way for more Ramadhan Bazzar stalls. If you rely on GRAB, it will be less an issue BUT it is still incredibly crowded! 12 April 2022

The hotel is situated in the centre of the town opposite the new shopping mall and right on the seafront. The room was clean, but basic with breakfast served in the next door building. The staff were helpful.

THis hotel surprised me as a good nice hotel but at econ price . It is a no nonsense hotel in the water front heart of Sandakan , its next to the Sheraton Hotel and opposite to the famous shopping mall , and 2 minutes to the seafood market and many restaurants near by . There are many local eateries and grocery stores nearby . The room is colorful and clean and every little thing things work in the room . The breakfast area is nice with full sea view and the food is generous and free . I will definitely stay here next time I go to Sandarkan

Very comfortable hotel (if not a 5 stars) for the price paid (25 USD) for. King with ocean view including breakfast (that’s where this place lost some points for me). Clean,comfy bed and pretty large room with modern bathroom that had plenty of hot water and pressure. Very calm with a view of the bay with its many ships in the distance. Perfectly situated next to a big mall with supermarket, laundromat and a variety of relatively affordable Asian style restaurants with alcohol service on the seafront . The included breakfast was served in a bland cafeteria style restaurant next door from the hotel. Mostly Asian style food offered served rather cold by uninterested staff. Sad really since the staff at the hotel is great and helpful. Was perfect for the 2 days we spent in Sandakan to explore the area. Very good choice for our needs. Close to minibus station to get to Sepilok. Note than the worn-out carpets in the corridors are not an indication of the cleanliness of the rooms.…
