We were so satisfied with staying in Scuba Junkie Beach Resort on Mabul Island that we decided to take a Kinabatangan River Safari with their sister company - River Junkie. And we weren't disappointed since everything was well organized, even overorganized I would say. I mean we felt like on a scouts camp :) because the beginning of every activity was...

Thank you for your kind feed back. You are in fact the 3rd visitors during the last many years, who have asked us to consider putting on the sarongs. We will take this suggestion after considering the ease to walk from the dorm to the dining area. Thank you and do have a safe holiday.

The only issue the whole time is that the car to pick is up at the airport was late, once we arrived though everything else was wonderful. No wifi, but you don't need it. Cruises were great, guides awesome. Lots of fun.

Thank you Michael. No excuses for the slightly late pick up as the traffic around the area was unusually busy on that day. We will improve on this. Dio have a safe onwards travel. Regards

I'm gonna give this place full marks because of the value for money that it offers. Once you've paid the more than reasonable fee you are covered for all your meals (x3 per day + a small afternoon tea), all activities (except the night walk) and great service and guiding from a wonderful team. The food was plentiful and all...

We stayed 3 days / 2 nights in a chalet (ensuite room with AC) and had a great stay. We kept comparing this experience with a previous similar stay we had in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador, and Kinabatangan is very good value. Organisation is very good, plenty of activities, spotting a large range of animals is guaranteed and the...

Thank you for your feed back Jacques. Kinabatangan is indeed a wonderful place for wildlife watching and credits to the State, NGOs, villagers and many other stakeholders for working together to keep the environment sustainable. Do help us to pass the words around. Regards

We had a great stay at nature lodge Kinabatangan. The staff was very friendly, informing and helpful. Our guides seemed to be enjoying their jobs a lot. We were lucky to see a lot of animals living in the area, for example elephants, western tarsier, various types of monkeys, crocodiles, birds. Rooms are functional but clean.

We stayed in a clean and comfortable room with all amenities, right in the middle of the Bornean rainforest. The lodge organized river cruises and jungle treks in a professional manner. Food was a mix of local and international and was quite good. Meg & Nik With A Suitcase

This hotel was included in our Kinabatangan River Cruise for one night. The cruise package includes dinner and breakfast the following day. The Lodge also has equipment available for rent for the cruises and hikes, including flashlights and boots (the latter is highly recommended, if not mandatory depending on the season and the former is always mandatory!) The rooms were...

Thank you for your feed back JKD. We have in previous occasions allowed guests to eat prior to the meal time. It resulted much confusion and food then to run out as guests who want to ensure not wasting the food on the buffet line, not realising there are many guets who actually have not event arrived to eat yet!...

We booked our stay here as part of a packaged deal with Nasalis Larvatus tours and I could not recommend this tour company enough. Thank you for your positive feed back Lucie. We are indeed glad that you have enjoyed your stay with us. The elephants have been around quite a bit lately, which is good and bad. Good as our guests get an opportunity to see them. Bad as they seems to not able to find food up stream and keep getting back...

Coming from a highly urbanised Singapore, staying at this lodge is truly an amazing adventure...add that to being a nature lover and wildlife photographer,..somehow, a stay of at least 2-3 nights should be minimum ! For all city folks... especially like me, I have this tips - tune your expectation (this is a nature lodge, not St.Regis) and standby lots...

Thank you for your feed back. Yes, indeed we are not the St Regis but we can proudly state that we excel in our segment of the tourism industry. Our lodge has limited wifi connection (the trees and canopy tend to hinder the wifi signals) and most of our visitors don't want tv sets ;) We are glad that you...
