This is 4th time I’m staying at here. But I really disappointed regarding the hotel service for this time. They aren’t assigned me the highest floor as usuals, and give me so bad the room conditions isn’t like I stay before. I got lower floor (1st floor) with bad view) Outside the hotel we can see the rusty on the wall. The room entrance door use manual key (not using touch card anymore), & the guest lift suddenly stuck during you’re inside. The hotel policies still following old SOPs (Pandemic) with not permitted our visitors coming in. Very strictly with only serve you to check in progress after 14:00 hours event you already at lobby since 13:38 hours. The front desk staff isn’t fully friendly service like before. The wall mirror & vanity mirror inside the room so dirty with mark. Bathroom ceiling got a lot of fungus. The marble at bathroom got a lot of fungus especially at toilet bowl & shower section area. The shower glass have full soap scamp and mark (look like never scrubbed). The shower glass silicon it’s so dirty. Toilet bowl seat cover is loose. The TV cabinet light on the top sometimes is on, sometimes isn’t function. Limited TV channel. The room smell is odour & the bathroom smell is really badly during check in. The WiFi connection is poor (more better when you use cellular data). The window glass have a lot of mark. The carpet look like not vacuumed (have some debris at near mini fridge cabinet). The duvet cover is stained & crumpled (look like re-used or recycled from the previous guest). The bed linen not smell fresh. But they are collecting me with MYR150 deposit cash. The amount is to bigger than room rate. Supposed to be the hotel management inform earlier at website then we can prepared the cash before arrived. They are calling into my room (with inside room phone) a few time and also calling into my personal phone disturbing my privacy time. When I called back the number using my hand phone too many times, but they are never to answer. This is the bad experiences I stay at here and I think this is my last stay. Depends on you to recommend this hotel to others or not. But for me, I’m not recommended anymore and this hotel need a lot of improvements. Too different when I come 3 times before. Thanks for read. Hopefully my review can helping you all to choose the best stay in Sandakan.

Hotel at the quiet corner of Taman Kim Fung, mile 4 of Sandakan. Ample of parking, walking distance to various eateries especially Chinese food. Kim Fung market and night market are 3-5 minutes walk. Premier double room is at the corner of each floor. Room facilities are good, come with safe, mini fridge etc. However, it will be good to provide an indoor shoes/slipper as some part of the carpet is stained. Cleanliness of the bathroom wall/tiles can be improved with more care and detail from the housekeeping team. Although Hotel is stringent in Covid measures with contactless check in process, but it was a bit pointless & not guest friendly as we have move into endemic phases and many guests are no longer wearing mask.

Used to be a good and comfortable hotel. Stayed here for few times, rooms always come with problem, leaking tiles, broken sink, stink water pipe, lukewarm water, etc. Room cleanliness depends on your luck. This time worse, my room was double assigned, other guests opened our room door while we were inside. Not flexible check in time, not even 10 minutes early. And check out is slow like hell. A lot of SOP warning here and there but staffs didn't put on face mask properly.

Stayed here on the 22nd July. Good location, nearby the famous eatery in tmn Kim fung Market. Just a 5 minute walk. Nearby kfc, pizza hut, a Bank and many shops. The rooms are clean and updated. Staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was a hassle though, likely due to covid19 restrictions. Overall very good for a budget hotel.

This hotel uses only solar power for water heating. It was a cold day, and the shower was cold as well. Hotel staff explained that since it was a rainy day, the solar system does not heat the water effectively. So, if you would like to stay here, be prepared to have a cold shower if it is a rainy day. Hot showers will only happen on hot sunny days. This certainly doesn't make sense to me. I can't understand why a hotel would implement such a flawed system. The same staff taking care of the public compound of the hotel will clean your room as well. Despite its great location, I will opt not to stay here ever again for this reason.

The hotel room is clean and modern. Size of room a bit small and very limited tv channel. However, with the price you paid, nothing more can complain. All the room is strictly no smoking. Walking distance to a nearby food market.

Stayed at this mid range hotel and impressed with the simple yet lovely coziness of the hotel. The rooms are splendidly clean with all the basic needs to make your stay comfortable. The staff always willing to help and cheerful in many ways. There is no food outlet within the hotel, but the next door restaurants aplenty to pick from. The nasi kuning outlet just beside the hotel serves very tasty food.. check it out.
