This place is perfect for nature lovers. living here is very close to the greenery of nature. every morning you will hear the chirping of birds flying. It is also one of the hot attractions for bird lovers. there are many birds that can be found here. This place is also close to the Rainforest Discovery Center, only a 5-10 minute walk away. Here you can do Night Walk activities in the evening. The variety you will see at this time. For the Sepilok Orang Utan Center, just 5minute by car and walking is about 15-20minutes. Here you can see closely the Orang Utan. Front of the place is Borneon Sunbear Conservation Center. Here I have some picture from Google. Because I dont have much picture for the place. Only the tree it front of the cafe at Sepilok Bnb that it my own. Don't forget to have a time to visit the place while you are in Sandakan Sabah.

We only stayed one night. Really closed to Rainforest discovery Centre (5minutes walk) and 15 minutes from Orangutans and Bears. Very friendly staff. Good food. Spacious chalet. We were in S1. Nothing to complain about. Thanks

The surrounding jungle is beautiful and if you’re looking for a fabulous location, from which to visit the Orangutan & Sun Bear Centres, you’re perfectly placed at Sepilok B&B. It’s amazing value for money and the staff couldn’t do enough for us - huge thank you to them for making it such a pleasant stay.

We had delicious lunch served by friendly staff under pleasant canopy with roof fans to keep us cool in the hot humid conditions, the property is set in beautiful grounds close to jungle. The accommodation looked good although we were only there for lunch.

Staff is really friendly and attentive, huge plus for that. They do have a laundry service but our shirts came back totally crinkled ( so no ironing included). Breakfast is ok, you get some toast, can order eggs, there is butter, coffee, tea and lime juice which I liked. I suggest to offer also milk because not everybody likes creamer in his coffee, real milk would be great. The room we stayed in was huge, cleanliness average, some stains on the sheets and spider webs, but that was not our problem. The mattress is hard as stone, impossible to sleep, I even took a mattress from the bunk bed to put it additionally on the other bed but did not help. AC works but not really well, there is also a fan on the ceiling but it was soooo hot in the room. There is nothing to do , really nothing, except visiting the Orang Utans or Rainforest Center, so a working wifi would be great, but it does not work. You can order lunch at dinner there at given times, food was ok, but portion size really small. For one night ok, I would not stay longer. But again staff is super friendly and lovely.

If your focus for Sepilok is on the Rainforest Discovery Centre (as was ours), you could not be located better. 400m from the RDC and about 10min walk from the Sunbear and Orangutan Centre. It is among the most affordable in Sepilok, breakfast included and very good service. Room was clean with both fan and AC. Outside of breakfast you could have dinner and lunch there, which was very good. Very remote feeling, would recommend.

We booked the bnb for 3 nights, our room was a superior suite it was huge with a double bed and bunk bed! Room had air con and a ceiling fan which was much needed! The heat around there is crazy! Restaurant food was ok cheaply priced but very small portions! Breakfast basic! Bread, eggs and noddles and rice! Basically breakfast is between 7-9 if you go at like 8.15-8.30 you just have to eat what’s left they don’t top up the food once it’s gone which is terrible really it should be topped up till breakfast is finished! We booked a trip to the river for a cruise with our hotel they told us it was booked and that was it! No information about it, no telling us what time they were collecting us or coming back just literally no help at all. The staff were always polite but they really do need some pointers in customer service as this was the only thing lacking here!

This little B & B was perfect for our needs. Short 20min walk to the orang-utans and the bears and only down the road from the rainforest centre. We arrived just after 10pm and the hotel staff waited specifically for us and then even guided us to our lodge, as it was quite dark. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was reasonably priced and was very tasty. Breakfast is basic (toast, fried rice, fried noodles, fruit, eggs to order and french toast on one our mornings), but was sufficient and on par with other places that we stayed. Definitely recommend.

I stayed at the doorm. Had it all to myself. No other people in the house, with the exception of the maintenance guy. I left my room for maybe 15-20 min to go to the reception. When I came back I noticed someone been going through backpack. I can not say for certain that I looked the door, but I think I did. From my backpack a Samsung tablet 10.5, a Cree flashlight and some other small things where missing. This place is quite "isolated" and has many buildings on an large open area. When the "maintaince" man was confronted, he said he had not seen anyone else around and he himself had not taken the tablet. To me this is obvious..The maintaince guy, who where around at the time, saw me leaving the building and went in to my room, with or without key stole the things.... Otherwise.. You get what you pay for.. Cheap fan doormbed (45myr+10 for ac), and pricey double rooms. Clean place I would say. Nice girls at the reception. Breakfast very basic. Coffee undrinkable... Fruits where bananas. Obviously I can't recommend this place, there are better options nearby. Me and 2 other couples where the only guests at this huge place... Makes you wonder why..?

Mostly fine. But not impressed when asked to pay again, after paying in advance. Also not impressed almost complete absence of wifi in room, although told it would be available. Good location, and nice grounds.
