I was here for one night. I arrived at about 4.30pm & upon arrival I was greeted by the hotel staff at the entrance. They ushered me to Level 1 where the reception was. My room was at Level 20 & it was facing the seaview. What a beautiful view. I wish I was there longer to witness the sunset....

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from the 19th September until the 27th September 2016. This was our first mistake. This hotel is really only used in the majority of cases for a 'stop-over before travelling on to elsewhere. Our room (1906) was nice and overlooked the bay. There was a good sized wardrobe which housed the free...

The staff here appear quite efficient and the rooms are nicely furnished and spacious. Our bedding was blood stained but on request this was rectified very quickly with no further issues. Breakfast was a delight with a good choice. There are fabulous views of the harbour and the hotel is in close proximity to the markets if people want to...

I wish I could review this 3.5 stars. It was a nice hotel overall: The positives Good location, spacious room, good breakfast buffet, good value for money The negatives Not the hotel's fault but the sea is FILTHY. It feels like the locals need some education in conservation (my understanding is quite a bit of the litter comes from the...

Sandakan is rather unattractive, and this hotel a large white loaming elephant on the nonexistent skyline. Next to the harbour it does offer unbelievable wievs of the port, sea and river entrance! The pool is on the 13:th floor and amazing 180 degree wievs are offered as well as a nice poolmenu and somewhat pricey beers. Rooms are large, beds...

I can sleep well in this hotel which to me is the most important for my work next day. Nevertheless I am the SPG member...

Bog standard hotel , typical Sheraton style. Have no complaints 're food, staff or room but did not feel like we were in Borneo . After stopping in jungle lodges and traditional hotels etc, it felt clinical and much the sameness as hotels in a big chain. Had a comfortable stay but it wasn't my favourite hotel in our 3 week...

We usually like to stay in local non chain hotels however due to the lack of choice on the area we went with Four Points. The area has alot going on, the market is just opposite, the mall is connected and the port is just nearby. You have to embrace the local culture and people with this hotel. It is...

This is very much a chain hotel - clinical and lacking atmosphere. The staff are undoubtedly lovely, but you are very much sticking to a safe choice with this. We were disappointed that there were only 12 loungers round the pool yet 26 floors with approx 10 rooms on each floor. Obviously the pool will be popular as it has...
