The staff were helpful with directions for local buses to various site and with resturant recommendations in the immidiate area. We had a strong wifi signal in our room, the shower was hot and had good pressure. The bed was very comformtable. They also provided drinking water, coffee and tea. Sandakan central has nothing special to offer as all tourist sites are outside the city. We found the Prima Square area to be much nicer (cleaner) and with many more food options. The staff were also able to provide a drop off at the long distance bus terminal (charged us $10 RM).
