Arrived at the hotel about noon time and receptionist advise they will try to get the room cleaned as quick as they can. Waited at the lobby until 3pm (which is the official check in time) and went up to the receptionist again (for the 3rd or 4th time) but no joy! It was 3:40PM before they gave us the key to the room which was very disappointing. We could had gone to the shopping centre across the road if we knew it would take them more than 3 hours to get our room ready!!
Otherwise the 1BR suite was of good size (1 bath and 1 powder room), would be better if there is a bar fridge given there seems to be space for it.
Location is conveniently located with eateries (though we didn't have time to explore) and shopping centre across the road is worth visiting.

We checked into ANO hotel on 8th Jan 2020. Checking is a breeze. The receptionist is courteous. I was assigned to room 329, a corner room. The room is well appointed with all the amenities. Since its only a 2 to 3 star hotel, there is no fridge/mini bar. My room is a twin bedded room. It is cozy, airconditioning is just right. I like the huge rain shower head. Bed & pillows are comfortable, sheets are clean. Room is well insulated from outside noise.

Hotel facility is limited with no frills. There is no swimming pool, only a small cafe on ground floor next to the lobby. Hotel is located in the town centre near to lots of F&B outlets. Its a convenient & economical hotel, I will not hesitate to recommend to others.

A new hotel with promotional price for a grab. The checked in experience was good. I was allocated on 7th floor & the room give was not that big but sufficient since I was traveling light & alone. Plenty of storage for you to store your belongings. The shower was fantastic & I had a good night sleep with 4 fluffy pillows all to myself. There are plenty of eateries nearby so looking for foods is not a problem. A short distance walk to imperial mall too. The downside was that distinct moldy damp smell & I must say the previous occupant was smoking in the room. The tv tv channel are limited too. Please look into this matter especially the moldy damp smell of the rooms & guests smoking in the rooms. Keep up the good work & I will definitely recommending the hotel to anyone & given a deal price deal, I myself will be coming back to stay here again.

We checked in to Ano Hotel yesterday, on New Year’s Eve, 31/12/2017. My husband booked our hotel rooms way ahead before the trip for 4 of us (sister in law, niece, hubby and I), then last minute a close friend of ours decided to join the trip, so on 30/12/2017, my hubby booked him another room, so total 5 of us and 3 rooms.

To avoid the traffic jam, we got up at 3am and started our journey, we reached Miri before 7am, took our breakfast and started our shopping, during this time, my husband kept calling the hotel to check when is the earliest we can have our rooms checked in, cos we were all sleepy and tried already. After much wondered around and contact with the hotel, the hotel told my husband we can check in at 3pm, so just slightly after 3pm we came to the hotel, but to our horror, there were no rooms available for us!! My close friend was tired and upset, he requested the front counter lady and the manager to tell us, with the standard check in and check out procedure, a clean room should be ready for the new guest latest by 3pm, but now, almost 3:30pm, why are there still no rooms for us? Beside us, there were quite a number of room guests waiting at the lobby, too, for their rooms! After giving them more pressure, they finally made 2 rooms (out of 3) available for us! So by 3:30pm, 4 of us checked in and my friend was told to wait till before 4pm, of which he eventually checked in to his room at 3:45pm!

We are checked in to room no 716, the room is small, there were a hint of cigarette smell in the air and this hotel has really thin walls!! We constantly hearing the rooms next to us opening and shutting their doors, and the housekeeping people vacuuming, tidying and packing things from other room!! And I don’t know why, this hotel is unwilling to provide room guest a full toilet roll, they gave us just thin rolls (look like something left over from previous guests), we have to constantly calling their housekeeping to bring us toilet paper, so inconvenience!!

I truly think this hotel needs a lot of work to improve their standard, I will not recommend any of my friends and family member to stay here despite the cheap room rate of RM100 per night!!

A very central hotel strategically placed near imperial mall, lots of eateries, massage centers & bars. Room a bit small but feel fresh & clean. Good natural lighting from window. Wifi speed is quite ok but often disconnected. Nice smelling shampoo/body wash. Good thing its individually packaged. 2 single bed (super single) room priced competitively below rm100, cheap & very comfortable accommodation. Nevertheless the small hotels / inns scene in Miri is rapidly changing. Lots of new & upcoming hotel for you to try.

after my 1st visit last May, duty called again in July. Just as to hv other option of lodging (previous trip was at Mega Hotel)...i tried Ano Hotel.

It was a splendid option. Rational and Competetive rates, New building, furniture & fittings and great fresh smell of room made my 3 nights stay a peace one. I enjoyed a few World Cup games inside the room (with some "tapau" foods & cans of course)

What I like most was the distance to the Shopping Mall which is just across the street. Less than 7 minutes walk. Not to mention the food heavens are lesser than 5 minutes walk (Container City, Muara Restaurant, Ming cafe just to mentioned a few).

There is a good restaurant located at the ground floor. A bit exepnsive but still tolerable.

A good place to be considered for a stay and I hope the hotel can consider a breakfast package for guest staying more than a night.

This hotel is new and clean, situated in the town center. It's easy to walk around to find food ( a lot of food and cafe/bar). The superior room that i stay is a bit small, where it limits our movement inside the room. Yeah, free wifi, but the wifi is rather too slow with only one bar signage~~ The hotel is not provide daily breakfast because they are so many kopitiam or restaurants nearby to dine. There is also a self service laundry shop just less than 5 min walk at the corner.

Very good for a comfortable and cheap holiday. Although no fridge is available but satisfactory. The rooms I rent can fit up to 4 people even though they are medium-sized. My family and I were very satisfied. Later I will come again here
