Went for a family swim, son ended up with splinters in his foot some an inch long. Had to sort first aid out myself as couldn't find allocated first aider until I interrupted a manager's meeting. V run down and poorly maintained and bad management. Best advice don't go.
My husband likes to stay here as he loves golf. Definitely an amazing golf course but that’s about it. Very run down and isolated. Not central to anything. Beds very hard. Air con noisy. Food very average. Pool not inviting to swim in at all and Infact looked green.
Though the hotel is situated bit far from Miri city area the surrounding within the hotel premises is very refreshing, mixed with the natural beauty. Traditional long houses of indigenous people of the island being made as hotel rooms is, very fascinating; despite the service being not so welcoming, experience there at Eastwood Valley is really nice. The sad fact is hotel free wifi can’t be access through IPhones 📱
Hotel price, 3 star. Reception service, worse than a bed and breakfast. No greetings and no smile. I don’t need the receptionist to treat me like a king but atleast ask how can I help you. When I walked in, the receptionist was just staring at me like I was supposed to ask her how can I help her. It felt like I just walked in a five foot way grocery store to get some stuff. Otherwise, room is fine and environment is great for someone who needs a hideout from the city life. Receptionist really needs atleast some basic training on how to treat guests.
i was attending my friend's wedding reception. They have a huge area for wedding ceremony outdoor and even a indoor ballroom for dinner. What get my attention at the reception counter is that the price for rooms. I saw they stated superior room at RM100, with daily breakfast, and RM180 for junior suite. This is contradict with my friend who are getting wedding dinner here booked the hotel at so called special rate at RM220, and even Agoda cannot get this rate! Those who want to stay in this hotel, please call in to the reception to check the price before you book online.
I couldn't begin to describe the filthy windows in the bathroom of the rooms. There understandably appeared to be no other guests apart from the small boy on the tricycle being chased by Jack Nicholson. The breakfast was cold, despite our being the only people taking it. The rooms are distant from the reception and restaurant. Bathrooms particularly tired. I would not stay here again, as noted by a previous reviewer, "this place sucks". Even the fish in the pond next to the restaurant had given up all hope and lay floating atop the pond, dead. I almost threw myself in with them.
It was my first time staying at this place. The room was ok and comfy but creepy since, we stayed at the old wings, it was the chalet styled room. The breakfast buffet didn't have much to choose from. However, the wedding venue which was the Grand Hall was beautiful and luxurious. The staff serving us during the wedding dinner wasn't very good at serving so I hope that they will train the staff beforehand next time. Anyway, I had a fun experience, other than those flaws if one would say. I will be coming back to this place next time but, I'll take the new wing thank you.
The staff is really unhelpful. Rooms smell. Most of the light fittings don't work. Doors feel like the going to come off the hinges, there was no hot water in the morning, pool closes very early. Definitely won't be coming back here
my first time staying at this place..pretty quiet..it quite relaxing and the place itself is not so bad actually..bed is comfy and food also not that bad..golf course is good too..challenging and some hole is pretty..not bad at all
I love the golf course for an enjoyable round of golf and then later relaxing at the club house. They have a comfy restaurant to serve great food and chilling drinks too. Nice place to hang out with your golf Buddies.
