Stayed 1 night at M floor (4th Floor of the hotel). For a 8.7 rated at Agoda website, I expected more. The Good - Quite a new hotel - Really good lobby design - Spacious room (I was in the Premium Queen) - Rooms look exactly like the photos (Quite modern) - Good beds - Large parking space at the basement for the guests - Really good bathroom design even tho small The Not So Good Experience (Definitely things that can be improved) - Trouble at check in (Room is not ready even tho I arrived at 3.30pm. I understand everyone is busy, but I would appreciate a little more professionalism from the reception staff to let me know how long it will take for them to get the room ready. Not even communicating with the housekeeping staff when I asked "How long to get the room ready?". The answer I got back is "We don't know and we can't tell you." 3 times.) They did keep apologizing in English afterwards. - I can hear every door slamming from inside my room - I can hear loud motors running pass the hotel from the inside fo my room - Really small bathroom with no door lock - Small wardrobe with no extra hangars - Not enough towels for guests at the pool reception - Almost 0 degrees celsius freezing pool (Had to get out after 20 minutes because it felt like a titanic movie playing. Brrrrr, even when I think about it now) - Hotel restaurant staff - some friendly, most not - but at this rate, I don't expect much - A tad smelly lobby... when I came down in the morning - Weird furniture placement - Wifi wasn't working at my room M-017 (Which also means the smart TV wasn't able to play any online features. So I didn't use the smart TV. This was one of the reasons I book the hotel).

Never in my 30 years have i experienced a hotel this terrible. All of this happened and i only stayed there one night. I read reviews and though it can't be that bad, boy was i wrong! - Check in is set at 2pm. I came at 4pm and room not ready for check in. Asked if i can just put bag in the room but cannot. Asked if i can at least check in but also cannot. - They called me to inform room was ready at 7PM!! - Arrived there and took long time to check in (would expect they would be ready with all my check in stuff) - Gave me a key that didnt work, had to go down and get new key (this is 11am already) turns our card only works for the electricity but didnt inform me of this earlier. - No room tissue, no toothbrush. Just soap and shampoo. Other amenities such as toothbrush, shaving kit, comb, etc.. have to ask from house keeping who apparently only work until 5pm! - I asked their watsapp hotline and they said housekeeping is closed so they will give me tomorrow. Apprently housekeeping closes at 5pm! Even my check-in time was later than that. The reception should at least learn to give some of these items to guests themselves. I ask what time they will give tomorrow and they just say “when they arrive” - Room is just empty. Small TV. Alot of empty space without the side table, a usess kitchennete area with sink but not kitchen facilities or utensils (not even a spoon!) - No instruction on how to use their heated shower system which was not the easiest to figure out. - Hallway area is hot as it is not airconditioned - Aircond took a long time to get cold - No side table or night light - No hangers, iron or iron board, have to ask from house keeping which, again, only available until 5pm! - Swimming pool and gym only opens at 10am. Never have i seen a hotel with pool and gym facilities that open soo late! Why cant it open earlier? They make me check in at 7pm and im supposed to check out at 12pm? when are the kids supposed to swim?? - Asked for a late check out at 2pm, just 2 hrs later than original check out time and they said they need to charge me, even though they checked me in at 7pm! - Eventually before checking out i asked if they can give me a discount given that i booked 2 rooms and both rooms were only allowed to check in at 7pm. Only then do they say that they can only give me a late check-out! Although the staff need to work on customer service, i cant blame the staff completely. The management of this place really need to work on improving how they manage and treat their employees. What im hearing from employees is that they are severely short-staffed as many employees are taken in but quit soon after as they cannot stand the management.

Overall everything is ok but the funny thing is they are having some renovation at the 3rd floor and the reception still put us at the room infront of the room that is undergoing renovation. They started to renovate around 8am and the loud noise wake me up. Toilet is stupid cause it has no lock and nothing to block the shower so basically the toilet bowl area and tissue roll (as there’s no specific place to put the tissue roll so it will be on top of the toilet bowl) will definitely be wet. Walkway from lift to room is hot cause there’s no aircon. I ask for extra pillow around 10pm but reception couldn’t give me one cause housekeeping is close at 6pm which is funny. What if I check in late and I need some toiletries (need to ask from reception if you need) after 6pm?
