New hotel in town, adding more choice of international brand. The location is great, walking distance to eateries. Room is modern, not spacious but decent. I like the bed, very comfortable. The bathroom is nicely decorated and simlple. I love the water filter in the room. No need of bottled water.

Staff here requires more training. During check-in, line was long and the Duty Manager assist with the check in by asking the person queuing in the middle of the line to check in at his table and not the one next to be served. Cook at egg station cough while preparing the egg with no face mask. Complaint the above to the Room Manager - Jagjit but it seems no action taken. The next day the same cook cough again while preparing eggs with no face mask. It's a boutique hotel so no working table - not convenient if you expect to work on your laptop. Gym super small and not well equipped.

Such a lovely hotel. Great location in the centre of Miri, staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms are stylish and comfortable, we slept really well. The food at breakfast was delicious, and the roof top bar cocktails were great. We would stay here again!

The hotel is located in the City Centre and close to all the amenities and shopping areas. The hotel itself is vibrant and well designed. The rooftop Lounge has a stunning view of the city. Ms. Pamela was very friendly and attentive. The outlet was next to the rooftop pool with a spectacular view of the city. Better to take your meals in the hotel as the food is good. We tried the Wireless Street Food but not to our liking.

4.4 Pro: - The young lady allowed us for early check in which was kind of her Cons: - Parking is at a cost of RM30 per entry for hotel guests instead of free parking or pay on a daily basis. Imagine the guests have to pay for the parking fee each time they enter the hotel which is inconvenient. - Requested for towel and it took them more than 45 minutes to deliver to our room - Cleanliness of the hotel needs to be improved as stain is found on our bedsheet

Our first time in a long time in Miri and we are grateful to have chosen Mercure as our place to stay! We were given free room upgrade upon check-in and were also offered complimentary late checkout. Both our rooms were clean and the aesthetics were very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful too – special thanks to Rowena and Liyana who were very helpful and pleasant from check-in to check-out!

What i like? I like minimalist style in the hotel room. Food was amazing. Pastry is the best. Room very comfortable even bit small. Bed ... I really like. Toiletries on request. Not wasted which is good. Friendly staff. 👍🏻 What I dislike? Parking charges maybe need to be reduced ??? Swimming pool small. Receptionist uniform a bit doesn't look professional... Sorry to say. It is lame and not stylish for the one guest will meet first. 😅

Brand new boutique designed hotel in the heart of Miri! Just opposite Jln Merbau is the well known Ming Cafe. You can't find any better location. We purposely went there to try the new hotel at its soft opening, same as Pullman 7 years ago. Our 2 rooms were not very spacious, but well planned and nicely designed. It surprised me a bit that the door lock batteries went flat during first day of our stay, probably they were not new or placed in long ago in the doors store. However the management was so active that it took few minutes to solve the problem, same as when we needed something in the room. When you arrive, only paid parking is offered due to limited space in there, and you pay 30RM on the weekend/15RM on the weekday per entry. We left our car to the robotic lifting system, and it disappeared in seconds behind the gates until we checked out. If you plan to use your car, every time have to pay for parking entry, so it's a matter of choice, so we chose to use Grab to travel around. Not very convenient for guests with own car on my opinion. Belian restaurant on the 2nd floor was nicely (I would say - bizarrely) decorated. There was not a lot of space in the morning, quite crowded, though hotel was not fully booked, and some food was running out of stock on the breakfast, such as smoked salmon, fresh milk, fruits, so we had to ask repeatedly to top it up. On the 3rd morning salmon never appeared. However the eggs and the noodles stations were doing very well (unlike in Mercure KK), and there was a broad choice of bakery. I was missing tomatoes in the salad all the time, please make them available. Forgot to say that on arrival we were offered to try free gelato (ice cream) in the cafe on reception, also there was a welcome cake in the room, and we were given with 2 free drinks per room (including wines/beer). Very nice, and hope it won't stop after full opening. On the top floor there was a bar (currently closed) and the swimming pool. Quote small in size and depth, it appeared to be of the same size we had at home, but with glassy wall, which made my kids happy to make pictures diving there. Hopefully the bar will open soon to make happy the adults while kids are swimming. Curtains in the rooms were blacking out sufficiently to sleep in the morning, noise insulation was good as well, and beds were soft, comfortable and nice to touch. A bit disappointing the hotel did not offer bathrobes, so guests have to take their own if want to visit the pool. Suggest to remove door closers from the doors in between of connecting rooms, as they limit the doors in a position of right angle to the wall, and block the passage to the exit. It also could be quote dangerous for kids to be left in another room if doors suddenly self-closed. Furniture, cabinets, bathroom/toilet glass doors, lighting - everytihng was of a unique design, so we were very much pleased. Water filter in the room produced fresh water, not sure, if it was drinkable from the tap, as it had only 1 step carbon filter, but definitely good for brushing teeth and boiling it for tea. The variety of tea in the room and restaurant was amazing (I am the tea lover), and they had 2 big coffee machines in the restaurant as well. So in the end I would say we loved our 3 days stay and want to come back again, provided we don't use our car during the stay or park it somewhere else. Another option of Miri stay is absolutely worth it to try!

New, clean and modern design hotel. The bed and pillow are comfortable. Strategic location. Polite and friendly staffs. The room quite small and some photos in agoda misleading we thought deluxe room with bathtub but it is not. No sound proof as we can hear almost everything from hallway. There were renovation going on so if was annoying, however they did stop it after we complaint about the noise and we have received coffee and desert as a gesture of apology. The breakfast menu was almost the same for two days. Swimming pool too small and not chair at all to put stuff. During check out, the room charges different with the amount given by reservation team, so we have to show them the conversation and it took a while for them to check.
