The hotel is central and has a wonderful rooftop to enjoy the sunset with a drink 🍸 Huge breakfast selection, tasty ice cream to welcome you at the hotel as well as very friendly staff. Further more every room has an extra tab with filtered water to provide enough water for the guests as well as to reduce the use plastic. All in all a great choice to stay.

New, clean and modern design hotel. The bed and pillow are comfortable. Strategic location. Polite and friendly staffs. The room quite small and some photos in agoda misleading we thought deluxe room with bathtub but it is not. No sound proof as we can hear almost everything from hallway. There were renovation going on so if was annoying, however they did stop it after we complaint about the noise and we have received coffee and desert as a gesture of apology. The breakfast menu was almost the same for two days. Swimming pool too small and not chair at all to put stuff. During check out, the room charges different with the amount given by reservation team, so we have to show them the conversation and it took a while for them to check.

Modern and well-maintained hotel in the city centre, in walking distance of the two main malls (Imperial Mall and Megamall). Note that Miri is pedestrian hostile, with almost no side walks and a constant near-death experience.
Good beds, shower, and a/c. Very helpful staff. Luggage storage.
Unfortunately, the restaurant on the (16th) top floor suffers from daylong thumping "music" which makes a visit (good views!) an act of suffering. Avoid rooms on the 15th floor for the same reason (daylong thumping noise above you).

Beautiful place. Toilet tiles & sanitary wares look premium & sets your facility over other conventional hotels. I love the hotel ID, the wallpaper & padded walls, space-creating sliding doors are interesting. Bidet sprayer should be on the right side of the WC. Carpet isn't thoroughly cleaned - feels dusty to touch. Love the assortment of tea & complimentary fizzy drinks. Mechanised carpark gives us the next level of security for our.
A relaxing place to stay. Will definitely come back here again.

Bed and room si cozy. The service is super friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Best hospitality and service! The room service is helpfull and the drinks really delish. Get scoop of free gelato and my kids love it. The fact that they practice on sustainability attract me to stay here. Who need water refill when yoy can drink it directly from the filter tap.

Our first time in a long time in Miri and we are grateful to have chosen Mercure as our place to stay! We were given free room upgrade upon check-in and were also offered complimentary late checkout. Both our rooms were clean and the aesthetics were very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful too – special thanks to Rowena and Liyana who were very helpful and pleasant from check-in to check-out!

Our family stayed at Hotel last week, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We booked two rooms, and both were clean, and well-appointed. The hotel’s modern decor and attention to detail added a touch of luxury to our stay.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay. Thanks to sherlyn for a great hospitality. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches in the rooms, such as complimentary beverages and comfortable bedding, which made us feel right at home. The hotel’s location is another highlight, situated conveniently in the heart of Miri. It made exploring the city a breeze, with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Value for money, comfortable rooms, with beautiful interior, the rooftop pool & bar has a great view of the city and sunset. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Located near to many restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend for a stay at this hotel.

This was the second time we stayed at the Mercure in Miri and we’ll definitely be back again. Not only is the hotel centrally located but it has everything you need. The rooms are small but are well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The beds are great and there is no noise from outside despite its central location. The pool is small but fun given one side is glass so you can watch the swimmers’ every move from outside.
Possibly the best thing about the hotel is the homemade ice cream upon arrival. It’s absolutely delicious and can be enjoyed in the relaxing atmosphere of the foyer of the hotel. The breakfast also rates very highly in my opinion. The selection is great and the hash browns are definitely the best I’ve ever had.
Looking forward to our next trip.

I am fully satisfied with the service eventhough it was their first day opening. Thank you for all the front office team. I am so sorry I can’t remember all your name but you guys are so cheerfull and really welcome me there. To the one receptionist who handled my check-in process, since this is my first time in Miri, she greeted me wonderfully and she even noticed that I’m not from here and suggested me to go to Marina to enjoy sunset view. Thanks for that. It was a good recommendation thou.
To the bellman who assisted me and carry my luggage to the room (eventhough there was a problem with a door lock, but nevermind. At least I can enjoy my free gelato and let him deal with his team. He profesionally apologised to me and called his team quite a few time. Since no one replied him, he then went downstairs to change the key card etc) Thank you for your effort. I don’t know your name but please identify yourself to your team ya. You are a great guy and for sure you will be far in this industry if you keep maintaining that attitude.
The breakfast is good. The F&B team really put their effort to explain and alert when then guest seems like needing something.
Of course, there will be no perfection for the hotel at their opening, but at least Mercure Hotel is trying their best to make sure the guest including me enjoying our stay there. However, I would like to suggest that during check-out, the Hotel may put the Invoice in the envelope instead of giving the receipt as it is - it will add up a few point to your service factor and hospitality.
Nevertheless, thank you Mercure for the hospitality. Love it and would love to come again next time. Bye2
