A very decent place to sleep, got separate space for a shower room and toilet bowl, good wifi, check in only @ 2pm, check out latest by 1pm Cool for 2 pax, wall hung flat tv, a working desk with large mirror on the wall. Got also water cooler outside to get complimentary water to quench thirst. Please re check your kiblat direction. It should be at 291° or 292° on compass. Get it fix, my fellow muslim brothers and sisters please kindly check the direction before performing solah. Jazakallah A good choice and value of money, in 1 minute one can be inside Bintang Mall/Parkson which is better than Permaisuri Mall in terms of number of shops available and dining places Assalamualaikum
We have booked a family room with a double beds and 2 single beds. The room is big and clean, all the amenities needed are in the room. The bathroom and the toilet are separated. It The best thing is the location of the hotel is central located. It is beside Bintang Megamall, 3 minutes walk from the hotel. 5 minutes walking distance to Meng Chai Seafood and handicraft centre. Overall, it is very money value.
The hotel is well located, close to a large mall, laundry shop and good restaurants. We had WhatsApp communication with the hotel and found they replied promptly. Reception is open 24 hours and we checked in after midnight. The hotel is modern, well maintained and very clean. The room has aircon, flat screen TV, shower gel, hairdryer and good storage. Wifi was good. There is free water refills and an iron. The lighting options were comprehensive. Staff are helpful.
Clean and large rooms. Good AC. Somewhat okay (slow in our room) wifi. Very nice and helpful staff. Laundry near. Very large mall next door. Also the city center can be reached easily by foot. Free water dispenser on our floor.
I stay with walk inn hotel since before the hotel new renovation and it was my first choice and place to stay in Miri.Hotel was affordable and you have to book via phone before your arrival in Miri. The staff service was perfect, reservation staff, housekeeping, five star service.Wifi connection is the best speed and easy for me to do my job. Some hotel is five star but wifi connection is the worst.Walk inn is my first choice.
Comfortable rooms with all amenities working. Has plasma tv, air-conditioning. Dinking fountains were a good idea to allow guests to wet their beak when they want to. No lift though so those who can't climb stairs 2 floors max not advised. Located nearby to the city centre and a lot of miri clubs, restaurants and malls within walking distance. Friendly staff. Will kiv if returning to Miri.
Four of us stayed 3 nights in a family room. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good. Room was clean and spacious enough to give us room to move. Bottled water was supplied and there were also water coolers on our floor and the lobby. The hotel is very central, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and parks. Overall very good budget accommodation.
Can't stand staying here for one night. Very bad soundproofing. Could hear people walking on the walkway and people talking next door. Room, toilet and bed position is awefully designed. The inn is situated on the first floor. Have to carefully and cautiously carry your own bags up the narrow stairs.
Arrived in Miri on a Friday afternoon so we could catch an early morning flight to Ba'Kelalan so all we wanted was a room to sleep in. We read the review of this place, booked a room and rented a car at the airport. The Walk Inn is conveniently located. Next door is the Bintang Mega Mall if you need your Marrybrown, McD, KFC, Pizza Hut or Starbucks fix. Across the road to the right is the Miri Handicraft Centre where if you're lucky and chose the correct outlet, you would get Sarawak handicraft at bargain prices. The downside is the car park. You'd be lucky to be able to squeeze into one. But the guard is helpful in creating a space for hotel tenants. Check-in was quick and we were given a key card to our room. Up the stairs we went. We stayed in the Deluxe room. It was cosy and clean although we had no window. The arrangement of facilities inside the bathroom was also brilliant. The ergonomics was well planned. Ours was a joining room. So when the baby next door cried, we could hear him well. Otherwise we slept peacefully. There is no coffee house but you can make coffee. There is a water-cooler outside if you need more than the free two bottles of plain water provided inside the room. This also means you have to look for food elsewhere. However, there are lots of places to choose from in the vicinity. If you feel adventurous, you can use Waze and look for Nasi Lalapan Muara for rice with vegetable and fish, or at night go to Madli which is a short drive away for Satay and Char Kuey Teow, or since Miri is not exactly the Laksa Sarawak capital although it is in Sarawak, drive along Jalan Kubu and look for the Ipoh Town Kopitiam. The Laksa Sarawak there is nice. I would return to the Walk Inn to stay for a night or two. It certainly is a nice surprise and value for money.…
The Inn is located in the city centre, which is by the side of a shopping centre and hotel. This means getting a taxi is relatively easy. There is water cooler is available, decent wifi speed in the room, and walking distance to most places since the town is rather small. Generally good for short stays, and reception personnel are responsive.
