The hotel was surprisingly good considering the money we paid. It had all the basic facilities and the room was quite nice as well. The receptionists were friendly as well. The location is good, there are restaurants nearby and the airport is not too far as well.

Only feedback is, give an option to room book with breakfast, please.

We check in around 3pm in the afternoon. Parked our car n registered for checking in. Only one staff doing the check-in so it took a while. Upon checking in went back to car in front of hotel n there is a summon for parking.
Next morning woke up around 9am n lo n behold another summon on the windscreen. You bet i check out in a hurry before another summon comes along.
Good location. Staff courteous but not helpful. Wifi not good for our room.
But for the parking problem i think it be a good hotel. Dont stay here if u have car is my advice. There is probably a ticket psycho ready to pounce on u giving ticket.

On behalf of Mestre Índio, master of Capoeira Angola of the Capoeira Angola Dobrada Association from Minas Gerais, Brazil, we would like to submit this review of the Hotel Nur. Mestre Índio was invited to Miri to give a workshop and stayed at this hotel.

The location is very good as the hotel is within walking distance from the city center. The room we got, a family room, was spacious and clean and could accomodate the four of us that traveled to the workshop with a complimentary bed. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and would greet us everyday with their smiles. The breakfast was very good, everday we had lots of options, a wide range of Malay food, noddles and rice, typical cakes, cereal, bread, coffee.

Another plus point is that the neighborhood is really quite so there was no problem with noise.

Mestre Índio and our group would like to thank the manager and all the staff for making our stay a pleasant experience!

We stayed here for 4 nights and liked the hotel quite a lot.
Our room was huge and clean, staff was nice and helpful.
Breakfast (pick buffett or a la carte) was good, they served asian food that was also ok to eat for us as westerners :).
Location is ok, Miri does not really have a waterfront or city center, restaurants and malls are all in walking distance.

Unfortunately, the laundry which was organized from the hotel lost one of my things. They told me it never happend before, apologized a lot and offered me a small compensation.
You should definitly check that everything came back after laundry!

We loved this hotel and got an incredible rate. RM40 for a double room, en suite, all the commodities you would expect from a first class western-style hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. 10/10 Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

From the outside, the hotel doesn't look particularly impressive - especially if you arrive at night and see that half the sign is not illuminated. However inside, there's an instant quality feel and it's much more sophisticated than the exterior suggests.

The staff were very friendly and obliging and even helped me print my flight boarding passes for the airport.

The rooms were clean, relaxing and comfortable with air conditioning and complimentary toiletries & tea/coffee making facilities. The shower was heavenly with a large cubicle and waterfall-style shower head. For the end of our stay we upgraded to a 'deluxe' room which is the same as a standard, just with a window (in our case, overlooking the adjacent building site!).

Watch your bare toes on the raised tiled lip adjoining the bedroom and bathroom - it doesn't half hurt when you don't see it.

Breakfast was tasty and I would particularly recommend the 'local fare' noodles. There's a selection of other hot dishes as well as cereals, toast and cakes.

One tiresome aspect of our stay was the unreliable room keycards. They frequently became deactivated and needed to be taken down to reception to reset them, sometimes twice in a row.

We did request a second keycard so that we could leave one inside the room in order to keep the air con running all day. When we requested the card, we didn't have to provide any identification so could have been trying to gain entry to any of the rooms! Hence be warned that security may not be great.

Thank you for your recent review and comments. We apologized for the unpleasant experience that you have encounter during your recent stay with us. We have addressed the issues regarding the keycard slot deactivated that you have highlighted to the responsible departments and that corrective actions are taken to avoid this from happening again. As for getting identification for a second keycard, as part of the hotel’s policy, staff must get the name and identification to ensure that the guest is genuine. Perhaps, in your case, the staff recognized you. We have stressed on this matter to our Front Office staff. We thank you for your patronage and for bringing these concerns to our attention. We certainly do not wish to lose you as a valued customer and looking forward to welcome you again in the future.

Booked the hotel room through email reservation with immediate response. Stayed in Family Deluxe room for 3 nights. The room is spacious, comfortable, clean and neat. It fit enough for the 4 of us. Equipped with our complete needs like coffee making facilities, toiletries, iron, led tv with several astro channels, muslim prayer mat. The decoration of the hallways to the room are so beautiful. Even though the location of the hotel is a little far from the shopping malls, actually it is good since you are away from all the city noises. You just need to walk for about 10-15mins to get to the mall. There are several restaurants in front of the hotel and nearby so there is no problem for finding food. The staffs are friendly and helpful as well. All is good.

1st time coming to miri for a car gathering by miri auto event that held at stadium. Obviously we need a hotel that have a safe car park. The hotel litte bit distance from the city centre crowding that the good thing.😌
Very friendly polite staff greet you welcome after a long tired road trip are pleasant. So room, i got a queen deluxe if not mistaken, large comfy bed no window(the only one left so it ok), refrigerator, mini bar, bathroom all on point (a big 👍).
There 1 thing, the hotel decoration at hallway are so beautiful, the wood furniture it like old malay traditional things hang on to the wall. Don't have time to snap picture of it, just enjoying the stuff while walking and standing in elevator before door shut😁.
