It was money well spent. I stayed on the 7th floor and loved the view. The masseuse (nisa) was good at her job and the hotel porter (khairul) was very helpful. The life guards were skilled swim instructors and i even got a few pointers on how to improve my strokes. Yes, i was a bit disappointed that there were no in-room dining but i should have confirmed as well prior to my stay. The breakfast buffet was alright but the food in the Hainan cafe was good especially their Kijal fried rice. Love the ambience and to top it off, the staffs were friendly and informative. I needed a breather before another long and hectic work load and i received it. On another note, i know that it is an old hotel with wonderful architectures but some of the furnitures/ in-room equipments might need to be refurbished. Otherwise, i am happy with my stay. Beautiful rooms, if slightly outdated. Situated right beside a quiet, stunning beach. Some parts of the resort was dilapidated and closed off, so it must have been quite a sight in its glory days. Customer service was decent. However, no room service provided so they weren't able to provide utensils for me to eat takeout meals I ordered.

I always thought that this was a 2 or 3 star hotel but the front counter guy just told me that the hotel has 5 stars....FIVE!!! Where to begin.... There's no in room dining. Everything has to be ordered at the restaurant and self collected. It's actually easier and more efficient to order food delivery from outside. The breakfast is extremely poor. They don't offer even a single type of cheese. I once ordered a medium rare strip loin for dinner and what I received was an over done boot sole. To be fair the hotel apologized and said they'd replace it during my next stay. Credit to them, they did. But sadly it was not much better than the first. They don't have bath robes - not even by request. For the few pros, the views from the room are good, the rooms are generally clean and the staff are polite. That's about it. It's sad, really. The architecture and layout of the building is great. It would take relatively little effort to take the hotel from a disappointment to something actually good.…

Stayed here for 3D2N and this is my first time here. The structural looks amazing and obvious that it requires an upgrade. Staff : Really helpful & friendly and the registration process was also smooth. Room : I got a king size bed at Level 7 & basic amenities are working & also clean. I like the room size and of course the seaview. The pillows are too hard for me & not comfortable. Breakfast : Limited choice and just average, in term of taste. Am paying for RM 39 and personally,it's not worth it. Parking : Ample of parking spaces & I also noticed there is 1 unit of EV charger installed at the lobby area. Recommendation : 1. Management to install a boom gate rather than to get the security team to manage it manually. 2. To resume your room service and that would be much appreciated. 3. I don't really appreciate the gesture in providing a Coway/Cuckoo and to only place an empty plastic containers for your guests. I have doubt using it and how frequent it being washed. …

Room stay was fine because it is for my night stay in Kerteh. However, notice something new which is no drinking water in the room anymore but they provide the occupants with empty refill bottles. The water, you have to get it somewhere down the aisle/corridor from filtration unit. Personally I don’t favor the idea as the room rate stays the same but less in room services for you now. The drain system in the bathroom was clogged, water will accumulate and drain slowly. Perhaps it’s the way to not let you taking shower too long, a way to save the water? Breakfast will be always the same. It will be on Monday’s breakfast for me every month to check in the hotel. The menu remains the same all the time.

overall, it seems okay and comfortable. but I wish kids pool should be place at the entrance of pool site. after taking towel, the kids are excited but the pool near the entrance is not suit for them and they have to walk far to the pool. maybe also can add more pondok or umbrella at the poolside

The room itself was spacious and the environment in the room gives you a sense of calmness. I love the idea of bathtub/jacuzzi in the space of the bedroom. Enjoyed to the max. I just wished that they did not remove the room service as not all of us would have the time to visit eateries out there.

Hotel so beautiful view. Kids definately will in loved with the swimmingpool. There is so much delicious food you can buy outside from hotel which is will take around 5minutes away. 7minutes to penunjuk beach which i can say so beautiful. Can picnic while watching kids surfing. Interesting ! Can try sotong celup tepung anywhere. Mesra Mall create diff vibes of mall if compare to town area like KL, Penang and JB. Its small but nice. Overall was awesome.

Very good services and accommodation with very spacious and clean room. The pool was kid friendly. There were many activities can do there with a giant chess and giant snakes and ladder.. The hall provided for dinner was very suitable of us with almost 70 pax. The food provided was very reasonable with the price and the food were all so delicious. Overall, we were very grateful to have our family day vacations here and surely will repeat again. Tq and congratulations to all staff members of Resort World Kijal ❤️❤️❤️
