Cheapest accommodation you can find on the island (RM10 if you use your own tent or RM15 if you use our tent). Fun, laid-back and warm is what we heard from our guests. So come and have fun here.

Very nice place to stay. I stay here a few times already. Bring my own tent. Friendly & really helpful staff. They upgrade the toilet & it's more clean now. Got kitchen & u can cook. The beach just in front of the campsite. There is a lot of hammock u can just chill & relax. Definitely my place to relax & escape from a busy life.

Me and my husband have been in Malaysia for more than 5 years now, and this was our the very first camping experience in Malaysia. LongSha is located near the nicest beach in the island, which you could see coral in about 30 m away from the shore. Power supply is limited just like other chalets/guest houses in the island, but it's pretty tidy and the kitchen is decent. No hot shower, but hot shower may not necessary after a day long sunbath. It's camping site, so can't help mosquito biting so better have repellent with you when coming. Overall, it was pleasant stay in Kapas island, and fun experience at the camping site.

Not sure what went wrong but had asked to stay on the island a week before via Whatsapp, they said it was okay and to confirm a day before. Then a few days later, I sent a message again to check but got no answer. I thought maybe they were just busy and waited. Still no reply but I could see they were checking my messages so thought maybe they knew and they would have told me it was cancelled or if there was a problem right? There was no phone number I could find to confirm in case something went wrong. I turned up anyway and hoped they kept their word. I turned up and got turned away. The staff were very rude, no explanation. So had to take the jetty back and bus back to Terenaggu for accommodation. Very confused and upset! Since I am a single female traveller, I found this rather "Un-Malaysian". Other places have been at least helpful in helping me find other places to stay. It's a shame because the place sounded and looked nice from the reviews. It would have been nice if they had sent a message to say the booking was cancelled to save my travelling 8 hours and paying the expense to arrive on the island....really bad handling of bookings.

Lots of people told me the island is nice but reading the reviews I started to get worried about all the other places so I decided to give this place a chance.
I arrive there and I am greeted by luke with a hug, which is weird in asia but I dont mind since Im from Argentina. He shows me to my tent, simple but comfortable and I just throw my things. Later I got a small matress for getting a better sleep, 2 ringgli more but worth it, the amount of money you have to pay is settled at the moment you leave but let me tell you, even know I got to stay there a couple of days I know for a fact that if you stay more than 2 weeks it might end up being cheaper than you might expect. Come to this place to relax, meet awesome people, laugh, have an amazing place to swim with fish and turtles, eat and drink cortesy coconut just cut from pqlmtrees, walk a little bit in the jungle and really are willing to experience WIFILESS paradise. Thats what this place was for me in a nutshell, and incredibly cheap.
Avoid at all costs if you only feel comfortable in places like "all inclusive resorts"

I've been here for 3 days, its super affordable and make you just want to extend your stay. The host are very nice and the camp site feel super safe to leave your belongings. There a kitchen where everyone contribute and socialize unlike other's. The toilet is just enough and that's perfect. Definitely gonna come again.

We have been spending around 10 days at this wonderful location onthe East Coast of Malaysia. Being here before the seasonhad officially started, we had the feeling that we had the place to ourself. The Staff are very friendly and helpful and really made us feel like home. The kitchen was at our disposal and we could enjoy delicious cooked meals after going fishing. Really clean and nice, giving us the feeling of freedom and all in all a relaxing, welcoming place. Not sure what it’s like when the island is crowded with tourists but February on this Kapas camping place was all we could ask for. Highly recommended!! thank you Long and Natasha !!!♥️♥️♥️🌴🏖

Having been here every year and seeing that there are so may web pages and face bk sites, you relise that not many are actually connected direct to this place. Monsoon is nice but quite as most operaters and accomodations are closeed due to monsoon works and choppy waters.
All uptodate contact and booking info for LongSha camping and there boats is on the, newly udated google page and
Longshacampingandboatservices.blog.
Most questions can be answered here.
Longsha camping and boat services will only reply to telephone calls and wats up on the website numbers only.there are only two.
They never reply in any other way of messaging or booking like this platform on trip advisier or facebook etc to date.
Having heard some people problems with booking via face book or hete but then when getting to Longsha have no booking.
So be sure to check out the correct website info.
When the place is uo and running at full speed im sure its great, but i am here in monsoon.....but stillgreat....as very quite, but lots of rubbish and sea nit great for swiming.

kitchen is fine, u can find almost everything u need for cooking, but about raw food, keep in mind that there is no fridge there. u can buy ice from city and keep your raw meat in it. there is no supermarket here, u buy whatever u need from city and take boat to island.
There are more places to choose from in the Pulau Kapas area.
