Love this place. Modernised since we were there 20 years ago (hot water, aircon, 24 hour electricity, wifi!), but still maintains its low key character and affordability. Stunning beach with a pontoon to jump off and great snorkelling off the beach. Good restaurant with a few other eating options nearby. Note: Abdul’s is dry, so if you need alcohol, bring it with you!

I went there back in 2015. wanted to stay there again this year, but it was a good place for that cost. but it is very hard to communicate with them because of the language barrier and the person in charge of booking DO NOT WANT to speak over the phone! know why

Stayed here for 3N. When we arrived, we were soak as the sea was rough. But its acceptable. Journey from Besut jetty to Abdul Chalet takes about 45 minutes. Staffs were friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our rooms to be ready. Beachfront rooms were superb. Rooms are clean and big spacious toilet. There is also a small surau in the restaurant. Food was great. Do try their juice. Mango juice is one of our favourite. We had opted for full board during our stay. You can choose various menu for each day. The staff will approach you and let you know on their options. You can dine either indoor or outdoor. Beach is very clean. Tons of fish near the jetty area. You can practically snorkel at the jetty itself. It will be a definite come back for us. We truly enjoyed our stay

The chalets (sea facing) are the better option. Nice sitting on veranda and watching sea. Good aircon in room, needed in hot climate. Room not made up daily and has no kettle or tea facilities. Went to restaurant to get hot water & used my own 3 in 1 coffee. The bed was very comfortable and the gas heated hot water was great. The bathroom has been redone in the past and is adequate for most needs. Room itself (wooden floor) is quite big & roomy. Room itself is quite neat and in good repair. Bath towels are supplied, but not replaced daily (not in our case for 4 days). No beach towels supplied No safe in bedroom which I felt was a necessity, given belongings/ tablets/ rings/ watches & money. Sea is about 10 metres away. Get chalet away from restaurant for more privicy. Reception

Abdul’s front beach bungalows are amazing. The beach is great, the surrounding is tranquil and the staff very friendly. It’s basic accommodation but you don’t need anything more when you have the perfect view. We also stayed at PIR which was great but a lot more expensive. The beach at PIR is better but we thought the atmosphere at Abdul’s was better. We will definitely return here.

We have moved to Abdu’s challets because of the beach. Great snorkelling right outside, jetty just outside, lovely space for families with kids. Food in the restaurant good, they also do bbq fish and chicken, very nice. I’d stay here again. Lovely staff

A great centre for exploring the island. Sea view chalet was WELL WORTH the extra, although the cheaper ones were very comfortable too ( although no garden to look at!). The bay in front of Abdul's provided an opportunity to view a very small reef but plenty of fish and would be perfect for younger children. The boat trips to the other reefs were definitely worth doing for older children.Food at Abdul's was good but slightly more expensive then the two beech side cafes either side. The campsite ( walking to the left out of Abdul's) was excellant valid.

I'm excited to rate Abdul's Chalet a 5/5 as it really was a little gem. Please note however that I am rating this in line with the type of accomodation it is (not a 5* resort but a mid range local chalets) and value (you get more than what you pay for, but let's face it, it won't break the bank). Having said that, this was a recommendation and we LOVED it. The beach itself was beautiful and we had a beach front chalet with our own little terrace to chill and enjoy the sounds. The food (we went for the full board and honnestly had 0 expectations) was very tasty and well prepared. As others have said, with the full board you select the same as your partner/family hpwever there was always 1 meat, 1 seafood and 1 veg dish along with rice, juice and fruits so enough choice. You

The private beach chalet is amazing, it really feels like you're in paradise. The chalet has a big comfortable bed and a big bathroom with hot water. Quiet beach where you can snorkle (you can also rent snorkle stuff at Abdul's). Really loved our stay. Staff looks a bit shy, but is very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. They don't serve alcohol, but you can go to Tuna Bay (just a few minutes walk) for alcohol and delicous food.
