the rooms is so dirty. had to wait and told the staff are cleaning the rooms. I enter the room so dirty and request them to change to another room. When into another room, there were 3 workers inside when we open the room. One was adjusting the attire. The room was relatively clean , so we took and our fault that we didnt check the room. After we transfer the luggage and about to tk bath, i realise a white lump inside the toilet bowl and on top of the toilet cover.I took a look closer realize its Sp3rm.I feel so disgusted and the toilet cant flush. I took my sanitizer and shampoo wash the whole bathroom again.there was worm in the towel by the way.Terrible experience.

1. We had a great time on the boat, the snorkelling trip, and the view was amazing. We checked in on Thursday, and we felt like having the resort to our own. The resort became busier on Friday & Saturday. 2. Booking, checking in & out was quick and hassle-free. 3. The resort is near to the jetty; therefore, we did not have to walk very far. 4. The quality of the food was above average. Foods were cooked deliciously. The buffet choice was plenty, considering the COVID-19 pandemic. 5. The resort facilities, however, could use several improvements: 1. The room should be maintained regularly. The management cannot depend on complaints from the guests alone. Have a regular inspection and repair program. 2. Housekeeping is basic. Toiletries (shampoo) still contains Methylparaben. 3. The bathroom is huge, it should have a physical separation between the shower area 7 the toilet to avoid the bathroom floor from getting wet. 4. The hot water is only available during the day when solar power is abundant. 5. There were no TV channels. After some troubleshooting, we still got no TV, and we were advised to change our suite. At the new suite, we still got no TV. Then the staff at the Reception explained that the antenna was struck by lightning. The staff could have been truthful in the first place. 6. We noticed some rubbish was left at a spot without proper disposal. We also saw a giant lizard rummaging the trash. This poses a health & safety hazard. 6. Compliance to COVID-19 SOP: 1. No temperature screening equipment. 2. Staffs were not wearing face masks/face shields at any time we were there. 3. No movement control/physical distancing during the breakfast buffet. The staff must take proactive controls; they cannot depend on the guests because they were hungry. This resort is a best-seller, but please proceed with caution.

Hotel is located right next to jetty on Coral Bay, very easy access to boats; and has many nice standalone chalets; however they are horribly maintained. I stayed for 3 nights and there was No housekeeping service- towels and sheets remains unchanged; the toilet door was broken; and halfway through a shower, the exhaust fan fell off. Reported this to management but the lackadaisical response was that management needed guests to be in room for fixing (however our day time were filled with diving therefore unable to be in). Rooms were dusty, and toilet not very clean. Hot water was non existent and water pressure super weak. Lots of mosquitoes- room included a electrical mosquito repellent but without the refills. Breakfast was horrible as well- cooking was all oily. I would rate the food 2/10. I would take my money elsewhere instead of this hotel!

Well, we had a very bad surprise with this place. It seems very nice on the pictures but... - There is no swimming pool as advertised - Extremely poor housekeeping - Unpleasant smell in the rooms - Dirty toilets - Room full of dust - Very uncomfortable bed Has an amazing view, private beach, nice breakfast, staff is polite and nice, but the services they provide are really low quality.

PERFECT for backpackers and people who doesn't really stay in their bedroom in general I am incredibly dissatisfied by this hotel's accommodations, the reason is because: 1. The rooms feel old and musty. 2. The frequent power outages we're very inconvenient, it would cut at the most random moments without any warning, and the fact that the place had a very hot and humid atmosphere did not help a bit. 3. The hotel food is mediocre at best. The food is just bland, and looks very unappetizing. 4. Also fair warning, there is no "Free Wi-Fi"! You are able to connect your phone or iPad to the wifi but there will be no internet connection. I would personally never come back!

I’m spending my holiday here for the second year, I'm satisfied as well as for the first time. I like the hotel compound because I spend my holiday on my own and would like to hole up with nature. The staff members are polite, responsive, everything matches my preferences. The food is very tasty, generous portions. I’m very satisfied, I guess I come back here again!

Hello! We’ve been staying there for 11 days, and everything was OK! Everyone is friendly! Meals are nice! Although we don’t consume meat and fish, we always found something delicious. Moreover, I would like to mention the housekeepers’ work and quality of the clean-up! We’re especially thankful for it!

OMG Shari-La is probably the worst hotel we've stayed in. The staffs are helpful and friendly enough but the place is rodents infested. We first stayed in the villa which is right next to a building site, there's mice dropping in the living room, and furnitures are very old and worn out. There's a big hole in one of the bedstead which I suspect was chewed through by mice. We informed the reception and we were moved to a different rooms the next day but on the second night in the new room we saw a mice ran past! The place is just not very clean, which is a shame as the diving was great.
