Electricity is a major issue. Many times during daytime & night, no electricity. Complained many times but to no avail. Stayed 2 nights and ended up with rashes & bites all over. Bedding with dustmites or bedbugs. NO kettle provided but was given a thermos with lukewarm water. Making coffee is an effort. Resort located on a hill and the access path is gravel/sand with no proper lighting. Definite NO NO for elderly folks or young kids. I do not mind climbing up to resort but expect path to be walkable in a safe manner.

A little bit over 2 years old hotel seated on the hill slope. Stayed for 4 nights there. Room come with AC, mini fridge, hot water shower and buffet bfast. However, during this Recovery MCO period no buffet bfest were served. Short 200-300m walk to the beach. Construction of the new hotel wing are on going, but can't heard much of the noise. However, some of the walking path way (only walkway) to the beach are damage by the construction heavy machineries. Power supply during this RMCO period on weekdays only runs for 16 hours a day.

Cocohut Long Beach Resort slightly uphill. This resort not suitable for older people but only for younger. The room is big and suitable for bigger family because they provide 2 queen bed sheet. They also provide a televisyen. For kettle and iron, we have so ask at reception. They not provide it at each room. unfortunately, when we arrived at the resort, no electricity. We had to wait until late in the afternoon. But overall, we had a great stay at there.

Although there is constructionwork going on there was no disturbance. The hotel is only slightly uphill. We got new beachtowels everyday. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. The lunch and diner is very good! Soup, three dishes and as much watermelon as you can imagine. We had a great stay!

And today she mad at us because we start breakfast at 7am. She claim she said bfast start at 715am. The location of the challet far away from the beach.

Stayed for 3D 2N at Cocohut Beach Resort Perhentian. To call it a 'resort' is a bit reaching. We stayed at Standard Chalet with 2 double beds. The room was spacious, but lacks Electric Kettle, TV, cups or glasses, and even a chair. The first day we arrived, we couldn't even get cell phone signal. The hotel should provide a broom for each room because of the sand. It made us feel uncomfortable and the housekeeping somehow seemed to have missed our room to clean. The lady at the reception could have smiled more, to be honest. If you're here with your family (parents and children) I would not recommend this place for you as you have to climb up a hill to get to this place. And the way up the hill is so bad, like, hello, get it together. A little maintenance wouldn't hurt. While you're at it, get some lighting along the way for goodness sake. You have to rely on your phone if you want to walk at night. Listen, if you're looking for a simple place to just rest after a long day or snorkeling? Then sure, get a room here. If you're fussy about TV and kettle and electricity, then give it a pass. Would I stay here again? No. I hate the face that I had to climb a hill to get to this place and the no-smile receptionist kind of turns me off. She WAS nice though. Just.. Not very warm. All and all, I just feel like the money that I spent isn't worth it. Could do worse but it's not the best either.

This is my 2nd time stayed at the resort. The resort is less than 2 years old. Good size room, water heater, mini bar, fan and AC. Triple & quad sharing will be on two queen size beds. Generator powered power supply day & night. Rooms come with simple buffet breakfast. Resort located behind Turtlebay Dive Center and just short walk to the beach.
