Orang Hutan's ( jungle people) guest can camping comfortably in the rainforest with just 200 meter walk down the hill to the beautiful quiet beach in Perhentian Kecil Island. We have only 10 tents to ensure privacy and comfort. We provide mattress and pillow in the tent and shared western toilet. Our communal area provide simple delicious local foods.

L’atmosfera di questo campeggio è splendida. I ragazzi che lo gestiscono ti fanno sentire subito a casa e l’area comune serve per socializzare con gli altri e rilassarsi. Unico problema è che per arrivarci servono 5 minuti a piedi in salita nella jungla e se non avete lo zaino non è raccomandabile con delle valigie. Non c’è la carta igienica nel bagni, quindi va portata. La colazione e la cena (solo 15mr) sono ottime. Esperienza da fare se si è veramente wild. L’elettricità funziona solo dalle 7 alle 12 am e non c’è linea telefonica.

Le tende sono nella foresta il che le rende uniche come esperienza, unico problema è che per raggiungerle dalla spiaggia si fa una salita tra sassi e radici di alberi che non è proprio comodissima. Non si riesce ad arrivare su senza farsi un bagno di sudore. I bagni sono accettabili e in doccia troverete solo acqua fredda ( che poi non è mai troppo fredda ). Il piu grande problema di questo posto sono le zanzare, ce ne sono un mucchio costantemente, pertanto se vi infastidiscono questo posto non fa per voi. L’umidità è pazzesca, non vi si asciugherà mai niente compresi voi stessi. Loro sono molto carini e disponibili e offrono la colazione ogni mattina, ma purtroppo la mia esperienza non è stata positiva per i problemi prima menzionati. In ogni caso per il prezzo che si paga ( rispetto alle altre strutture) se siete immuni alle zanzare e non vi spaventa sudare di continuo il posto merita. Sicuramente migliorabile.…

Slept here for 3 nights and I absolutely loved it. The vibe around here is special and can’t be put into words. The food they serve at dinner is amazing and the pancakes we had for breakfast were delicious. The hosts are extremely nice and you can see that they love what they do. The shower and toilet facilities are great considering you are in the middle of a rainforest. There is nothing to comment on the camping’ itself, my only less positive point is that it’s quite far removed from Long Island and a taxi costs 25 ringgit one way (from 7pm till 7am they’ll charge you double).

Anyone who wants a different experience in the middle of the jungle in Perhentian, this is the perfect place. Amazing people, food and wildlife around, the peace and quietness I've breathe there was a new thing for me. Totally recommend at least try one breakfast (delicious local roti canai amongst others) and one dinner to spend time with the hosts, Ejan will make you feel like home with his backpacker games and stories, same as Zack and Adel with their good vibes. Would have stayed more days if I could but I was tight on time. Thank you guys again for a great time, will definitely come back for a visit 😉
