Mohsin Chalets are one of the few resorts located on Perhentian Islands in Terengganu, Malaysia. We have air-conditioned and fan rooms and also our own restaurants to cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This place is a dump... There are a lot more resort with better price and accommodities... The AC was not working... The place was smelly... The agent is not friendly... The management by aina holiday is terrible...

Their staff was so unfriendly and lazy. Masa first day dinner, boleh pulak makanan habis and kena order ala carte. Lepas settle makan , staff tam dtaang nak clear Kan table pun. The next morning nak breakfast around 9.30, takde sornag pun staff at the restaurant and makanan semalam pun still Ada on our table. We had to wait for half an hour since dorang tak bangun lagi. Luckily one of the Bangla workers was thoughtful enough and gave us a few slices of banana cake. Bila dah sampai n nak order, roti , baked beans semua takda. So bengang snagat, mintak jela bagi apa Yang Ada. Last2 bagi omelette je. Even Yang tukang buat air pun tak datang table nak ambik order. Kitoang yg pergi dekat bar order air. Sampai sudah, meja Tu tak dibersihkan. Such a waste , sebab crew Dulu mmg Jaga customer sampai nak datang lagi. Tapi management sekarang ni, mmg first & last la nak datang…

Visited this resort for 2 nights, it's a good nice budget hotel. But rooms are bit far from the beach. The view and food is really good. But we always faced issues on going back home. Also will recommend to book the trip before coming.

The worst place i have ever been to in my life, we booked AC Room with them, the enterence to the challet is horrible you have to go through a gabage area where huge and terrifying monitor lizards are roaming and the smeell is so bad. once we arrive, the reception just told me the room number, had to carry my luggage to 4th floor which was an AC room , as soon as i opened the door i was greeted with a stained walls and mattress the wood was also half eaten, the wash room was grim and as close to a public restroom as you can imagine. there was no electiricity in the room since the electricity is only available from 2:30PM onwards. lizards were roaming around in the room. after seeing all this is left the place and asked my agent to change the booking. Never ever going back there again.…

Stayed in the dorm room here as I wasn't able to get anywhere else on my first night. One night was more than enough- the dorm is GRIM. Dirty bed, dirty sheets, dirty floor. It rained when I was there and water just leaked right into the room all over someone else's bag. 'Bathrooms' are also grim. AC was on all night and it was absolutely freezing with only one tiny sheet. I would literally have rather slept on the beach than this place. I checked out as soon as I could the following morning. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! (which you might catch when staying here). The only good thing is that the staff were polite and helpful.

Basic accommodation. Super good local foods. Friendly staffs and awesome view from the room. You can request for an aircond room or fan room depends on the availability. 5 min to the beach (beach-front) and the night life is ❤️❤️❤️. Walking distance to fire-show every night.

We went to Moshin chalets because we thought people were complaining to much and it should be fine. Now i only hoped we listened to the reviews... It started with the staff. When we came the only thing he could said was: Reservation or not? Its not that he doessnt speak english.. he is just not that polite. If you ordered a drink.. they just looked mad at you.. they just do not want to work. Never felt more unwelcome than here. Next... we entered our room.. looks fine. At day no electiricity, only at night. they say its the island way.. well it is not. Every other accomodation has electricity during the day, but fine. So on t Our neighbours left the day later and the staff went to clean and fix there house. They closed some holes in the wall because the neighbours had all kind of annimals inside during the night. The blanket? They hang it outside, folded it and put it on the bed. The next guests were also from Holland so we told them it was not clean. Day later... the girl next door got all kind of rash on her skin. Turned out thay they had bed wants in there bed. Had to go to klinik to find out. The staff did not want to wash there clothes in there loundry because it was full.. i made a picture of there bed.. look for yourselfs. Everywhere were open electric cables. Verry dangerous. Well lets take the fire extuingisher if there is a fire right? Empty... and for a big time.. there was all kind of rust on it. There was no shower.. yeah they made a crane that goes up so you could stand on it. Our bed smelled. I think someone dropped noodle soup on it. Found out that we payed to much.. because other accomondations are better, cleaner and cheaper. Dont go there! My advise: sleep on the beach if you can not find a roon…

I stayed in the dorm for 6 nights. It's super basic but it has AC. They don't provide mosquito nets so bug spray is a good investment. The restaurant / common area has a great view over long beach, it's the best place to hang out if you need a break from the beach and the sun. Also the staff is lovely and super helpful.

Just came back from a 2 nights stay at Mohsin Chalet. As I was on a budget I stayed in their dorm which costs around 30 Rm a night for a bed. Probably the cheapest stay on the island. But definitely not the most luxurious. Went on a 3D2N package. You can find their packages on their facebook page as they don't have a website. The package was 300 RM which was worth it since you get 3 meals of good quality which is rare to find on the island. (Food around is very expensive. 20-40 RM for a meal) and a return boat ticket. The location is great, only a 5 mins walk to long beach and they've got a stunning view. Now the downsides of the stay. The dorm is very poorly maintained. And you'll literally be eaten alive by mosquitos if you don't have a repellant. Toilet are not that fancy either. …
