This place was only built 2 years ago apparently but it was badly built and is poorly maintained.
You get to it via a rutted dirt road with closed gates after 7 PM. I was supposed to stay for 6 nights but lasted only 1.
It was filthy and covered in ants. Mould in the bathroom, a leaking toilet that didn't flush properly, toothpaste stains in the sink and a sink tap that wobbled and didnt work.
Garbage bags were piled at the front of the property and no reception staff and no pick up at the ferry.
This place is to be avoided if at all possible.

Lunch and breakfast menu were lousy. Only bread and mushrooms soup are tasty. BBQ menu was cold and not interesting at all. Drinks was too sweet. Canteen was not really clean. When the food was finished, we asked for top up since we paid for a complete buffet package. They said no more available but we argued since we paid for buffet.
Room was acceptable although some toilets was not cleaned before we checked in.
Resort ground was dirty with plastic bottles and junk food packaging everywhere. It was ashamed to see that the hotel did not do a proper signboards and bins for rubbish and they should put a Fine if anyone found to be littering.
The beach was facing a service jetty which transport staffs, rubbish etc. and the beach was also full with dead corals and plastic bottles.
Long beach is 5-8 mins walk from Delima Redang Resort. The long beach is very clean and beautiful for any activities.
Attached picture was our mum, helped to clean up the resort ground.

A group of 7, inclusive of 3 children, we had to spend a night at Delima Redang because our preferred choice was only available the following day.
Since the boat left us onto the beach, it became clear that the area surrounding the three blocks of rooms was closer to a post-bombing Vietnam war set than to a resort very much below standard.
The reception would not be acceptable even for refugees under emergency accueil and one should call for huge sense of humour in order to get out of the "rooms" in the morning with a good morning smile.
Beds and floors are cleaned perhaps at Olympic Games intervals (once every 4 years) and should you be so brave to sleep in this gulag I advise a 500ml insect repellent to be taken with you at no matter what cost.
There must be a reason behind the 350 RM the room's cost and this is certainly not the breakfast which is not included and - frankly - no one would make a stop at the breakfast's barrack while running as fast as he/she can towards the jetty so to end the nightmare.
I feel very sorry for the young couple desperately trying to get their money back after having been forced to pay in advance and cash the entire holiday.
I have no pictures of the room and the entire area because we all decided to keep all our stuff closed in the luggage so to make the run to normality the following morning as soon and as quick as we could do.

This place is Ideal for those who opt for a budget travel option and want to understand the local sea culture better. We took the full board package at a very reasonable price which inclusive of the accommodation, snorkeling trips, and meals: breakfast, lunch, high-tea and dinner. Our stay here was better than expected. The room was spacious, comfy, and nice with good Wifi coverage. The service from the staffs were wonderful, especially from Mat, Jo, and Cimang. They were very helpful and friendly during our tour of Redang island. We enjoyed ourselves very much and really had a great time throughout our stay at Delima Beach resort. Will definitely come back again! :D

The resort has undergone renovations which is a vast improvement. I really enjoyed my 3D2N stay here. Rooms are spacious with new air-cond and water heater. There are ATVs for rental if you want to ride one. Most importantly, the meals served are very delicious. Within walking distance to long beach too. But not polluted with the noise from the night life. Staffs are friendly and accomodative. Network coverage is good too here (I use UMobile). Will definitely come again.

We were there for 3 days 2 night diving trip. Our room is good enough for 3 person. I love the bed and the air conditioner works perfectly. The food was good but sometime it run out of food quite fast. This is a budget resort, so don't expect to have a luxurious accommodation.

I was there for 3 days 2 nights diving trip...
Bad:
- Return boat was late. We waited from 9am and the boat only arrived at 10++.
- No proper arrangement on the boat trip.(not even first come first serve basis, suggest for provide scheduled boat trip).
- No welcoming drink provided
- Not enough food for lunch on the 2nd day, their reason we passed the lunch time(we went back a bit late from diving). Yeah possible because we didnt update them but we are in the group. Cant you tell that 17 persons missing from lunch?.. The management should do some briefing before hand over the keys i guess. At least we will updating each other schedule in future.
Good:
- Friendly and understanding staffs. Small group going for night dive and they allow us to have our dinner in advance(before the dinner time).
- New room, the furniture and other facilities very basic but not bad.
- Cute transportation to long beach(by schedule).
- very clean.

The resort is located far from long beach. Swimming at the near beach is prohibited due to rocky beach condition. Luckily they provide free shuttle to the long beach. Room was spacious, water heater worked fine and the food was consider ok as per budget. It will be great if they can cater food suitable for foreigner palate as well. The jetty was old but useable. During my visit a customer fell from the jetty into the boat and one of us fell straight into the beach. The crew didn't help at all and we have to ask for first aid.
Both local and foreign customers were left unattended and probably they want us to have our own free time. But they are not friendly at all. We were only communicating when we first arrived. I expected a warm stay but it turned out to be restricted to schedule-based activities. Other than that, karaoke and sport facilities are provided. There is small mart which we was not informed about and saw other customer going in and out.
