#8 of 12 hotels in Pulau Redang
Located at Redang Island gives you access to some of the best diving and snorkeling sites in this part of the world. This boutique resort with zero start itself is located on Pasir Panjang (Long Beach), offering you white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, colourful marine life and spectacular view of the South China Sea. Our resort is just re-opened it's business from End of April 2013 onwards. Highly appreciated not to focus us as a 4-5 star resort. Everyday we are improvise towards the services to satisfy our guest. We strongly believe & inform our guest not to have a high expectation on us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenient cause.

We had wonderful stay, we took 3 days and 2 nights packages. Our villa seafront. We visit in fasting month where less people on the resort but still they provided us best service. The staff so humble snd polite. The view from the villa was super with sea blue in colur, night with dazzling stars and snorking trip. We had great weekend and sure will visit again.

Our stay was for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a perfect spacious room for a family of four. Due to this pandemic, the place was a bit quiet as this was the place with zero cases. A great hospitality when we was welcome by the Manager Mr Specially, yes thats his name when we arrived at redang jetty. The check in process is smooth, all the staff is following the sop, friendly and our room is ready before the check in time. No housekeeping was done on daily basis due to the new norm. But, were given spare towels and other necessities when asked. Our Snorkeling session on day1 was a beautiful experience, Where we could see the reef, turtle and lots of fishes under the water. After the snorkeling, we were back to the resort to enjoy the beautiful beach and the swimming pool. Overall a great holiday experience with my family, with my kids playing in the sand, enjoying the pool and the beach.

Choose the Twin Island Full Board Package offer by this resort because I went alone. Resort not prompt to transfer visitors from jetty on arrival, and didn't show out to transfer me to jetty when leaving. Inform me to wait at lobby on 0620, not seeing any staff until 0645, I decide to walk to jetty by myself and luckily able to catch the ferry on 0700. Locate at almost northern end of Redang Long Beach, quiet during night. Pub/cafe not operate during RMCO, the nearest pub to have a couple drink is Redang Bay Resort. Spacy big clean room, but old & some nonfunctional setting like bathtub & wardrobe. No WIFI at lagoon villa, not even any connection to mobile signal or data. Welcoming lunch are so so, terrible lunch box during snorkeling trip to Lang Tengah, forget my breakfast box when leaving. Dinner quite good.

Extremely expensive for what you get! This is not a 4 star hotel, is more a 1/2 star - it’s a joke. For the price we pay to stay in this hotel, we were expecting much better, but ended to be one of the worst experiences ever. The room is spacious but wooden windows were rotten, the bedsheets with stains and smelly, the towels sometimes with stains others with holes on it. We couldn’t sleep properly because every time someone open the water on the other rooms the water pump start doing this very loud noise; it almost felt the pump was inside of our room. The food is absolutely terrible... low quality of the products and badly cooked! more than once, we went for having food in the hotel restaurante - that was included in our room - but food was so bad that I didn’t finished and we gave up and went to another place and pay for having a proper meal. Please, change the towels of your tables! Same towels for a week, full of stains, for every meal - it’s not hygienic at all. The hotel is falling apart, no maintenance at all! The common areas full of garbage in general, a lot of cans, plastic cups and forks, around the beach chairs. They don’t have ashtray anywhere so the worst of all was the quantity of cigarette buts - everywhere!... The location is the only thing god; but doesn’t worth staying here at all... you can choose other hotels in this beach. Don’t recommend at all!

Was at this resort for 4 days 3 nights (Full Board Package) and my review as follows: 1) Booking Process We contacted their KL Office for booking etc. Payment was also made to their KL Office. Quite easy and fast their responses. 2) Speedboat from Merang Jetty We took the speedboat at 1pm from Merang Jetty. Parking is available at the Jetty at reasonable price. The boat used for this resort was comfortable and clean. The journey took about 40 minutes and it was to Laguna Jetty. From Laguna Jetty, the resort will pick us up using a tractor with carrier and a very old van. The coordination of transport from Laguna Jetty to the Resort is unorganised, uncomfortable too as we were asked to squeeze in the carrier. Hope the resort can take a look into this and further improve as soon as possible. 3) Resort Outlook & Lobby Sari Pacifica Redang is a big resort with huge ground area which is good. Buildings look like it has been repainted recently. It does look like a 4 star resort. Lobby was ok but a bit small-ish with only 2 persons manning the reception attending to about 24 guests arriving at the same time. This can be better improved of course. We waited about 10 minutes before being attended. Anyway check in process was quite fast. 4) Full Board Package Throughout our stay, meals were served buffet style. Breakfast was from 7am to 10am, Lunch was from 12 noon to 230pm and Dinner was served from 7pm to 9pm only. So for those who took the 1pm speedboat from Merang on Day 1, it was very rush to have the lunch as they are closing at 230pm. Hope the resort can look into this and extent the lunch hours to 3pm. 5) Breakfast Buffet - Selections are quite ok. There's an egg station, fried rice, fried noodles, baked beans, hash brown, ham, 1 chinese selection (it was dumplings, mini pau during our stay), 1 indian selection (it was roti canai, tosai and poori with dhal during our stay), a teochew porridge station, a few selections of pastries, salad and fruits, 1 cordial drink, tea & coffee. Taste wise it was ok. 6) Buffet Lunch - on daily basis, there will be 1 type of soup (tomyam, rasam & seafood soup during our stay), white rice, 1 chicken dish (black pepper, stir fry onion & ayam kurma), 1 type of beef/lamb, kembung fish, 1 vege and spagetthi/pasta, 2 types of fruits, salad bar, 1 cordial drink, 1 ice water. Among all the meals, usually the lunch has the least choices. 7) Buffet Dinner - selections are better than lunch. Again, it was 1 soup (chicken soup, mushroom soup & seafood ball soup), 1 chicken dish, 1 meat dish, 1 seafood option (butter prawn, sweet sour lala & fish fillet during our stay), 1 vege, 1 spagetthi/pasta, 1 type of dessert, 2 types of fruits (watermelon & oranges/apples), salad bar. That's it. Taste wise is not bad. 8) Quadruple Lagoon Villa We were given room B31 and B32, which is nearby the reception & pool. Location is good. Room was spacious, so as the bathroom. It was clean and decent. Mattress was also decent so as the pillows and comforter. Most importantly, there isnt any power cut (they will restart their electricity twice daily, at 7am and 7pm, both occasions, the power will switch off for about 1 minute only). Not an issue at all. Our room balcony face the lagoon/pond which is quite nice. One main issue for us was that there was no Wifi in the room. There is also no Digi or Maxis line in the room too. So for those who has to work from the room could be an issue. Hope the resort can improve on this as soon as possible. 9) Swimming Pool One of the best feature of this resort. The pool is spacious and has infinity effect towards the sea. It was nice. 10) Wifi/Mobile Network at this Resort - Wifi signal is weak and only available at the Lobby area. No wifi in our room. As for mobile network, Digi & Maxis does not have any line in our room. Wifi is almost non-existence. Hope the resort can improve on this as internet is quite important nowadays to all guests. If not because of wifi/mobile network issue at this resort, I would have rated this resort higher for the prices it charges. 11) Customer Service - Most of the staffs, especially the staffs at the restaurants were all very friendly and hardworking. Two thumbs up on that. 12) Resort Beachfront - Resort has its own beachfront and it is swim-able. Water is clam and clear as expected in Redang. I think the resort beach is better than the beach at Laguna. There are a lot of food options nearby the resort too. So, no issue on food & beverages. Even the resort has its own minimart. Overall, I did have a good vacation at this resort. It was value for money considering the prices of the resort which is not too expensive (compared to Laguna/Coral View/Taaras). Recommended if the resort price is lower than Laguna, Coral View & Taaras.
