I've been here twice. The first one was last year. This place is very serene since it is not crowded with people. Since it is the only resort there, you will feel like you own the beach. The room was comfortable, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful and they will bring you to beautiful spots to... More

We were there for a no-frills dive holiday. The dive masters were experienced and knowledgeable, knowing the sites well. We unfortunately went during the end of monsoon and was troubled with waves during the boat ride there and in between dives. Diving was good for macro, but we did not get to see many pelagics. The resort is simple, ours... More

Resort staff were friendly and attentive. Great food served on the daily breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. However, some points to note: -Room walls are paper thin -Pillows too thin -There's no TV, so you got to spend your time outside :) -Some of the dive center staff were a little cocky and condescending.

The expectation i had for the resort was that it was a non-crowded, budget-friendly, basic-roomed little corner of the island that allowed you to chill. I was pleasantly satisfied. A 5 star resort it is not (neither does it pretend to be) but coming here with the right company and expectation makes all the difference. I had stayed at the... More

Redang is amazing... Crystal clear waters, snorkel (we saw 5 sharks off the resort) and totally away from it all. The rsort does full board and all snorkelling / boat trips are included. Only alchohol and other luxuries require you to pay. Great place to bring the family. Note it closes in monsoon season.

Don't expect 3* resort standard as the rooms are very basic. The floor boards are rather creaky and you hear your neighbour walking in his room. But other than this, the room is basic comfortable with hot showers and cold aircon. There are 4 meals a day and the resort staff will go around the rooms to remind all of... More

A group of 15 or so friends stayed at Redang Kalong in March 2016. Our group included a family with young children, married couples and singles. Some of us completed our PADI open-water course, some went as experienced divers, some went to snorkel and some went to chill out. Each of us loved our time at the resort. Each member... More
