Stayed with my family 6 adults & 6 kids (1-6yo) we stay for 3D2N. We booked 3 deluxe room. We love it! Wifi available, kettle and drinking water (can add on with coway at dining) available in the room. Room is clean and spacious. No tv, but u will have no time to watch it, due to activities available. Food is yummy(sgt kenyang yea), no regrets at all. Staff is friendly and helpful. We love it that the package do not have any snorkeling included, cz we can choose our private package. Environment is lovely. Kids love the pool; beach is givin beautiful. We shud stay longer. Thanks Coral Redang, definitey will come back again!

Booking was flawless with Hema from day 1. Everything arranged nicely. Speed boat departed 10 mins earlier than scheduled which is good. Got to resort and we got transferred from jetty to resort on a truck. Check in was easy. Since room was not ready at noon we waited for 30 mins at the lobby before we went for our lunch buffet. After lunch we got our key. Room was nice and spacious. Toilet is big too. We booked superior room which is good for 3 pax. Wifi only available at lobby. Phone connection is ok too at lobby area. However, there is no wifi and network in our room. No TV too. Room AC is cold and there is hot water. Our package is inclusive of 3 meals with all buffet style. Breakfast was ok. There is egg station in the morning. Lunch and dinner was ok but can be much better. Food taste is good but main dish only 6 types which is very little excluding rice, soup, salad, fruit. There is no BBQ dinner where other resorts are serving on alternate days. What a let down. Beach is nice. Powder sand and clear water. Our package does not include any snorkelling trip like other resorts which included 3 x snorkelling trips. I think it's good this way so we have option to join the trip and pay for it or we can do it just around the resort. Overall a good trip!

The exterior spaces and images really fool you into believing that you are getting a medium/high range hotel. - The rooms are only cleaned once every 3 nights - not an hotel. - There’s no fridge/minibar in the room - not an hotel. - You have to fight for towels for the beach, they wont let you change a towel during the day. - no cellphone signal in the rooms. - you have to pay extra for take away boxes - the rooms are very very very basic, dont let the exterior fool you, they are super loud, you hear everything from your neighbors or the corridors - the rooms are full of mold on the ceilingsc and dirty in the walls, floors, etc.. - the pillows in the bed are the hardest thing ever, and when we asked for softer ones, which they forgot to bring, the front office staff was giving us an attitude saying the housekeeping was closed since 10pm, so we should have come earlier! We spoke with the manager, whom luckily helped us out. - theres nothing to eat outside the normal eating hours. - the dive center is charging you to take the gear to the boat. Overall, will definitely not return.

This resort is a 3 star resort set facing a beautiful white sand beach with brilliant blue ocean. Everything about the resort is adequate but not outstanding ( except the location). Rooms are clean, air con works and there is hot water. We had the all inclusive package and the food was ok; repetitious and not very flavoursome. There are very few options for meals elsewhere. Accessibility would be an issue for those with mobility issues as it involves getting on and off at least one boat ( we had to go on two boats due to a sand bar). Most guests go to this resort for the diving or to just relax not for the culinary or other experiences.

This was our fourth trip to Redang Island. The first time we came around 18 years ago when things were quite different there. In the past, we stayed in Berjaya (now - Taaras) while this time we decided to try something new and less expensive. Friends recommend us the Coral Redang as a reasonable alternative. We did our homework and we generally knew what to expect. I should admit that the reality was significantly better than what we planned for. We stayed on the first lane with some sea view - an additional plus. What else was positive? Actually - quite a lot! The location of the resort is very good - in the middle of a nice beach, yet it was not crowded at all (especially, in comparison with the large neighbouring resorts). The sea was great and the underwater world was recovering well after being overexplored during the years before the COVID pandemic. The Dive Centre staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Special thanks are going to Mr Steven Lim and his team. We have done 8 snorkelling trips and all were just the most enjoyable explorations. Please note that the Dive Centre doesn't provide fins for snorkelling (only for diving). Thus it might be useful to get your own fins and bring them along (the same could be recommended for masks and snorkels - they are available from the Dive Centre, though the rental was a bit expensive). One thing somewhat negatively surprised me - they charged for the use of life vests (?). Normally at other places, the life jackets were for free as it was mandatory safety equipment (not what you could choose not to have). I think the resort has to revise its current practice and stop charging for the vests. We opted for the full board option and it was a very good decision indeed. The food was always fresh and tasty, and the amount was very generous. Largely the food was a local cuisine. However, the chef tried to make some new dishes every lunch and dinner. The staff at the restaurant was very helpful and friendly. We brought along a couple of bottles of wine. The restaurant allowed for it with the corkage charge of RM 40, which was reasonable. All in all, we did not have complaints about the food. Our departure and arrival were well organised and very efficient - thank you. Regarding the items for improvement, I would certainly suggest updating the WiFi equipment, and also I guess it is time to refresh the rooms as they look a bit "tired". In summary, it was a very good experience overall, and we are grateful to the staff of the Coral Resort for the great holidays on the beautiful island in the blue sea.

Special shout out to 'Farah' & 'Irma' My iPhone cable was spoilt and they are the only one that are willing to help me out. Regardless of how much I'm willing to pay for the cable, they politely decline my gratitude and generously hand out the cable to me for free. It is very kind of them and really my saviour! Thanks!❤️❤️❤️

The building is aged and it definitely does not respect any minimum standards of hygiene: wc is in the shower compartment, every single pipe is full of limestone or God knows what other material. When we first arrived we asked to change the room twice, we had to settle for the third room: in the first room the bed sheets had unidentified stains, the second room had curtain completely covered by mildew and the window in the bathroom was always opened because broken (try to guess how to manage with mosquitos and monkeys). In 6 days the room was never tidied, neither the bed made, nor the trash got empty. Solarium was the only point were wifi was available (other b&b on the island had no issue, only Coral had….) but in the night a little mouse came always to run on it and the small tables were always dirty. We paid the breakfast uselessy because after the first time we chose to avoid because there was dirt starting from the floor. On top of that the general attitude of the staff was arrogant and of disregard. To conclude, mite bites and no hot water in the shower. As a justification we were told that Coral was closed for 2 years because of Covid, but this is not a problem for people who pay, but rather of who collects the cash. We were not looking for Maldives, or luxuous resort, but we cannot understand how we could have relax in these conditions. Please have sufficient sense not to reply (for the chinese manager). We ONLY thank Ms Irna, for her smiles and her professionalism.

They claim to have shortage of staffs. Hence no house keeping. No new towels even if we stayed for 5 days. None of the staffs ever smile and none were forthcoming to help us. Because of their lack of enthusiasm they were accommodative at best. Their standard room was unlivable and their superior rooms are old and full of BED BUGS. Our friends room also don't have hot water at night and the staffs claim that because it is running on solar power. What crap. Also about the dive center, our dive trip had to be cancelled because one boatman fell ill. Didn't bother to offer alternative. Their dive center seems to be boycotted by all dive centers in the island as they don't receive information on whale sharks or anything. Maybe that's why they couldn't get assistance nce from other dive centers. We had to go to another dive center who was full but referred us to the dive center next to our resort, and they happily took us in although they didn't have a boat, and they shared it with anther dive center. Coral redang Island Resort is one of the worst resort that I have ever stayed in. I wouldn't want to stay there again even if they pay me to.

Great location, bad service and bed bugs… The hotel is located on a very nice location on the Redang Long Beach, which is a bit less crowded. The service of the staff was really bad. We did not get our room cleaned once even though we stayed 3 nights and we did neither get our towels changed… The information from the staff was poor and they did not seem to care about anything. It was not possible to pay with international card. The room is simple but okay, however we had bed bugs. That did not seem to bother the staff at all, who just said that they have bed bugs on their resort but sanitize with spray before new gusts arrive. Would not go back to this resort.

Booked 2 rooms for a 3 days 2 nights package, but this package should be marketed as a 2 days 2 nights package instead of the latter. Not only us but i heard complaints from other residents as well that everyone felt short-changed due to the early checkout by 9am on the last day. Everyone had to wake up at 7am in order to have their breakfast by 7.30am so that by 8.30am they can be at the lounge waiting for departure. This is madness. As tourists, to be rushed out. This is a 3 days 2 nights package, not a 2 days 2 nights package. In terms of facilities, there is no fridge or tv in the room. Dont know if it is common in Redang but the rooms in this hotel doesnt have them. Other than that, the beach is fantastic, the hotel is located at the perfect spot for good relaxation. Food wise it is reasonable but could be better in terms of selection. Anyhow, they serve quality food. If you are expecing a full 3 days 2 nights trip without being rushed out, avoid this hotel at all costs. Overall average experience.
