I'm pretty laid back about judging holiday venues and will forgive many things but please, save yourself the pain. Someone earlier said the best part was checking out. So true. Disliked mass arrival of cruise ship guests. Hated snorkelling trip with literally, hundreds of people. Resented buffet hell. If I have to listen to the theme tune of the Hong...

Definitely no frills. It may be the "swankiest" place on the island but the rooms are a tad bit run down. Cushion hard pillows and even the air conditioning in the rooms need to be serviced, fixed or replaced. Other than being the biggest resort this side of Redang, the beach where it sits on was also the location for...

We were 7 girls on a budget weekend trip. We chose Laguna Redang because although it is slightly more expensive compared to the other resorts, the package offerred was 3days two nights with free boat transfer, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and three snorkeling trips. We paid per person RM700 (USD 220). Our journey began in Kuala Lumpur, where all...

We stayed at Laguna Redang in a premier sea room with a 3 day 2 night package. The website gave us the impression of a peaceful and spacious resort in tropical paradise.. when we arrived, however, we found nothing like it. This place is massive and noisy, absolutely not a quiet retreat. Snorkeling trips are done with 3 or 4...

I stay in laguna for 2 night. And I like the beautiful beach and good facilities. Redang island is a good place for snorkeling dive. We can see many kinds of fish in the water. But there are too many people in laguna. So I didn't feel good when we go to snorkeling dive . But the white sand in...

Took my family there (2 adults and 4 kids) for a holiday during the first week of the Malaysian mid-term school holidays (Tue-Fri) thinking that we could avoid the weekend crowd. As soon as we reached the hotel jetty we were just stunned by the sheer number of guests who mainly looked and spoke like they were from China. I...

Great resort. Great food. Good service. We arrived during the peak season. The resort has to serve 600 arriving guests on that day. We only manage to check in after 2pm. Sorry to hear only a word of 'sorry' but no other compensation. Most staf are warm to guest and Well trained. We were late for breakfast one of the...

Gorgeous beach and a magical island! We stayed at the Laguna for 8 nights in May 2012. The resort is really beautiful and our room (deluxe garden) was very spacious with a charming balcony and huge windows. The bathroom section was not so fancy, but it had everything we needed. As some reviewers mention, there is a night club on...
