So-So for relax & leisure stay, family stay because they have live band every night. Loud noises until late night. Not suitable for Malay families. Food delicious.Mostly Chinese style cooking because most of the guests are non malays. I myself went to neighbouring chalets to have traditional Malay food 😊 or one of the best burgers i have ever tasted....

the beach just in front of hotel. The view really superb when in the morning. Breakfast just nice with sea view. I booked Deluxe queen room. Just simple room, not have mini bar.Wifi and data coverage really bad. If you're snorkelling or diving lover l, i suggest come here within April until July.

I spent 10 days in Redand Bay with my family. The main reason of our trip was to organize a first diving trip with my younger son (12 yo). This was a last minute decision and all the fancy hotels were fully booked. We decided to give a chance to Redang Bay resort. So we were not surprised by the...

This place is perfect if all you want is a bed, food in your belly and a place near the beach. However, if you like having a clean room every day (ours was cleaned only once in our 10-day stay), tasty quality food (the food served was canteen style) and peace and quiet, this is definitely not where you should...

Never go during peak holidays! Boarding the ferry to and from Redang is a nightmare especially traveling with kids. Staffs at Redang Bay seldom smile and friendliness is truly lacking. Truly a contrast from many years back. Be prepared to pay for a ridiculous RM15 for renting a life jacket for snorkeling trips as it seems to be a must...

This is def not a hotel but a very basic motel (without the car parking in front) or upscale backpacker stay. They have about 100 rooms usually each packed with 4 budget tourists. When we arrived hundreds of guests were "disembarking" on the beach from a snorkeling trip. It looked like D day apocalypse. Facilities are very basic starting with...

Everything is very basic. It is not a bad choice if you want to go for a budget holiday trip but if you want something more fancy, this should not be your list. I would recommend this to students who come in a group.

We took the Konsortium bus from Golden Mile to Redang. It was a 10 hour bus trip. Every 3-4 hours the bus will stop for a toilet break. It is the same for the return trip. So whoever wrote there is no toilet break for a 6 hour ride is a myth. We arrive at the Shahbandar Jetty at abut...

I've stayed here a few times and this place never fail me. Room was clean, food was good. Met new people, the snorkel guide was great. Took their time to bring us around, was patient towards us (me and some friends) and our demands. Hahaha. Overall, a wonderful experience. And it's always good to be back.
