Never go during peak holidays! Boarding the ferry to and from Redang is a nightmare especially traveling with kids. Staffs at Redang Bay seldom smile and friendliness is truly lacking. Truly a contrast from many years back. Be prepared to pay for a ridiculous RM15 for renting a life jacket for snorkeling trips as it seems to be a must even if you bring your own mask and snorkel. The singing from the 'pub' till midnight ensure you do not sleep before 12pm. Irresponsible snorkel 'guide' has the cheek to pick 'items' from the seabed on to the boat for the pleasure of customers' viewing and to play with. No conservation responsibility at all ! Food and lodging is acceptable. Murky pool that they don't seem bother to clean. Overall, will never stay in Redang Bay again, prefer to

This is def not a hotel but a very basic motel (without the car parking in front) or upscale backpacker stay. They have about 100 rooms usually each packed with 4 budget tourists. When we arrived hundreds of guests were "disembarking" on the beach from a snorkeling trip. It looked like D day apocalypse. Facilities are very basic starting with the reception looking like a teller from a youth camp with adjoining waiting area having the charm of a subway station. The bath room has open walls all around and the mattresses were soggy and completely worn. The dive shop was either constantly overbooked and didn't care about us family of 4 or when empty ( when the huge group was gone) wouldn't go scuba diving due to "min of 8 people needed to fill the boat". Most guests who didn't

Everything is very basic. It is not a bad choice if you want to go for a budget holiday trip but if you want something more fancy, this should not be your list. I would recommend this to students who come in a group.

I've stayed here a few times and this place never fail me. Room was clean, food was good. Met new people, the snorkel guide was great. Took their time to bring us around, was patient towards us (me and some friends) and our demands. Hahaha. Overall, a wonderful experience. And it's always good to be back.

3D2N. There were 5 of us, we stayed in Family Suite with 2 single bed, 1 queen size bed & 1 mattress on the floor. The room size is just fine but I expected it to be bigger since it's family suite. The price was good considering it included meals & 3 snorkelling spots. No hairdryer, please bring your own. Wi-Fi is available but not fast. No TV (well, you should go out and enjoy the nature). Water dispenser at lobby. Convenience store is available. Bar with live band at night. (they sang both chinese & english songs) RM25 rental for snorkelling kits (goggles & life jacket) (whole trip). They charge extra for power mask. Look out for your life jackets if you're drying them outside of your room. The food is so so. If you scare the food might disappoint you, you can bring

This resort is a wonderful place. My room was beach facing so I enjoyed the breath taking view. Food is also good and if you come with a package, you will find that they are very organized. The stuffs of this resort are very helpful too. I must refer this resort to the upcoming visitors.

Comfy and clean for an easy, simple stay. We took a snorkling package with meals so we eat at its dining hall. The food is ok though a bit disappointed with the Bbq dinner. They have a swimming pool and helpful staff. I think this place is suitable for group and activity centric stay. If your days are packed with activities, you just come back to the room to eat, clean and sleep you'll find this place perfect and reasonably priced. If you're looking to chill by the beach a lot and doing anything so much this isn't the place for you. Request for room further from the bar if you can't handle the noise at night. It's right in front the beach, so you can watch the sunrise in the morning, quick access to the boats for your snorkling or diving trips, have a long night walks along the

Was here for a diving trip. Since I spent most of the time in the sea, I didn't get the chance to really experience the accommodation and facilities. We booked a chalet which had one Queen sized and one single bed, good enough for 3 persons. The shower and toilet were separate and across each other, which is kind of weird. I would prefer if they were side by side. Meals were provided by the resort and included in our package deal. Some may have complaints about the lack of variety and tastes but when you're hungry after a dive, you just need to fill up and they did the job. The diving centre was fully equipped. Some minor faults in the rental equipment, but this was easily taken care of by the staff. DM we had was knowledgeable and patient with our group and we had a good time
